Found lots of family history here for my family tree. Was helpful in directing us to the information. The museum was helpful also in drawing a picture of history for me.Went to buy a book that was advertised in more than one spot at a cheaper price and was told a higher price when we asked because we didn't see the posted prices at first.

This was a great little museum with many interesting historical items from the entire area. The curator, Trisha, was fabulous!!! She was so thoughtful and helpful. Made you feel right at home. A real local treasure and great person.

A great small town museum with sections on all the little towns in the area. When I went it was raining so we did not check out the outbuildings but will next time. The staff was knowledgable and we had a fun visit. Would recommend if you enjoy history, especially rural or small town histories.

Wonderful museum with outstanding displays of local history. We were there for genealogy research and the library staff person was a wealth of knowledge and their library collection is impressive. We came for the library but we're amazed at the quality of the museum. Awesome place!

Great little museum about Clarinda, Iowa, the area and the history and culture. The best exhibit was on the POW camp for WWII, showed the impact on the local area and had great artwork from the German soldiers.

I am bias on this as my family ("Lee") are featured heavily in one of the wings. But it has a lot of fantastic historical information.

Had my wedding here and it was the perfect setting for a midwest/retro wedding. They were very kind here and allowed me to be there the day before to decorate for a very nominal fee.
