Shelves always bear the checkout line was so long that the customers were backed up down the isles with one checker. I seen people walking out because they didn't want to wait for the long line. I believe they should have two cashiers. I don't know how the workers get treated but the turn over rate is very high. The store is always clustered. I think it's not good to have the store that clustered. Personally I think they need a bigger store for their products. Then hopefully they could get workers to stay. I'm talking about the Dollar store is Cherokee

Why is the blonde manager always so grumpy to everyone? I come in this store quiet often and she has never once been friendly to any customer or any of her employees. So many people complain and nothing gets done about it. No wonder the store is always slow now that we have another dollar store in this town. I (and many others) will not be back until she is gone. I know people who drive to Paulina and holstein just because of her. I hope she doesn't cause the store to go out of business, that's what will happen if nothing is done.

No greeting, may I help you or thank you! I wish Cherokee Dollar General would increase their staff and move this store into a bigger building. Also, needs to organize their shelves better and neater. Poor management! Shop the new Dollar Tree/Family Dollar on the North end of town. Much more selection, organized and clean!

Employees are friendly, has a handicap entrance, after you get in building, they always have their stock carts in the way that a person in a wheelchair or a persn with a cart ,there is no room to get the product except to walk all the way around. It's very hard for some of the seniors to get around. I hope they can correct this problem before someone trips, get hurt, all due to all the their stocking carts in the narrow spaces.

Good store but always short staff and carts blocking the way of the aisle. They need to move To the old bomgaars or Shopko building store to get more space. Very full and also the parking lot needs new replace, to many deep pot holes. Fix it

The new manager is rude, when pointing out the sale price is on all of a product and not all ringing up I was rudely dismissed and talked about to the person behind me when grabbing my stuff. I also had a question while she was ringing stuff up and she flat out ignored me. I would not go back to this store unless I couldn't wait to drive out of town to another store- since it it the only option In Cherokee

I was at the Dollar General in Cherokee, Iowa on Oct. 19th. The employee who checked me out was outstanding. Even though they are short handed they still had smiles on their faces. I just want them to know they are appreciated and to keep up the good work.: l?
