Got a free night stay as a part of our wedding package, and it was the perfect place to stay for our wedding. Being only a block away from The Majestic Theater, it was perfect for my wife and the girls to get their hair and makeup done, and then walk to the venue! The rooms were very nice, and the people on staff were very helpful with answering questions.

The Continental is a wonderful place to stay, the rooms are so nice with the kitchenette and big fridge. But the staff is truly what makes this hotel stand out from the rest. Meralyn and Kristina are two of the best in the service industry! And the all the people we met in Centerville Iowa were the nicest I've ever met.
P.S. No business was conducted on the grounds of the Continental. =)

Rooms: The room I stayed in was excellent, I had temperature control, and the bed was comfortable. My only complaint was the door to the room stuck. I complained, but it was never fixed, but friendly personnel and great clean rooms and service. I would live there if I could , it's that nice

Ordered online for Lucilles. When I arrive I was informed there isn't any curbside service even the receipt was noted in 2 places that it was ordered that way. The little things matter.

This historical hotel has everything you need! The staff is extremely attentive and helpful. They were happy to accommodate all of our guests needs at all hours of the day and night.

It’s about an hour from our house but we like to make a road trip to eat at Lucille’s. We love their house chips and their deserts are wonderful. After flying a mission in town, I stopped in for a couple orders of chips and had a cold beer while waiting. Everyone is always friendly and like to chat.Noteworthy details: It’s a great historic site to visit.

Classic Centerville hotel on the square. Beautiful, modern accommodations in a historic hotel. Clean, rooms were excellent, and the best beds we've seen in years. Staff was polite and professional.
Rooms: New, clean, with excellent beds and many pillows. Very spacious.
Nearby activities: On the square to provide easy access to everything.
