Nice, local, small town grocery store. Good selection for the size of the store. Prices are a bit higher than Walmart but generally cheaper than Hy-Vee. Fareway has the best grocery butcher counter, with friend service people.

We love going to this Fareway. Always better prices. Always what we need and want in stock. But, the last 2years now, we've purchased carrots. They've had a chemical soapy taste to them when washed cut and eaten. I think yall need to contact your carrot suppliers and have them change how they prepare produce. It's very off-putting to ever want to buy carrots again. The brand is DOLE.

I have never had a bad experience in this store.....until today.I was wanting to get a few lotto tickets and I ask a clerk, her name was Rhonda if I could get them there. She acted as if it was an inconvenience for her. I tried to tell her what I wanted but she just ran the ticket when I was needing it for 3 day draws. She was extremely rude. I went to another retailer to get the rest of my tickets.Never have I ever been treated like that in this store.Everyone else is wonderful but Rhonda shouldn't be working with the public if she can't be kind and helpful to the customers.
