It was not a good idea putting a mall within reach of the state freeway as it complicates the traffic when you're dropping people off at the mall, and you have to go to Guitar center for example. You have to drive there. It would be a different story if you could walk to those destinations, but the fact that the mall sits within Highway 100 and 1st Ave NE makes it very difficult to travel from store to store.

Middle of the mall has a creep shirt maker. Harassed my friend and if security doesn't do anything about it there's gonna be hell to raise.

A lot of the stores I like are not here anymore. Younkers and Sears are closed. The food court is kinda a joke. I like to buy certain things in person, not online, but now, with limited stores online seems the only choice. The second largest city in Iowa and we can't support a Gap? I am hoping that with new owners, we actually get some stores again!

What a shame that the indoor malls are dwindling out! This one is on its last leg as well. Although still clean, it's not worth the effort to get out of the car.

Lindale Mall is only busy with it's exterior stores. The interior stores lack the luster of larger metropolitan areas. Security is few and laid back. There's a Beauty Salon that you never would know it's there until you walk into it. Looks like a clothing boutique- cute and small. Children play area is smallSome machine massage chairsThey have senior walking groupsChipotle largest and busiest business, but nobody ventures out of there into mallNew Caribbean food place not tested them out yetAnd a new center mall smoothie shopPretzel business always goodQuiet small mall not patronized enough to be a TOURIST ATTRACTIONNEED MAJOR STORES IN THE INTERIOR TO DRIVE FOOT TRAFFICBUT Parking is easy

Hasn't changed a whole lot for years. Only reason I go here is for the attached gym to be honest. There's nothing here that you can't get online or somewhere else.

It is amazing to see the decline of this mall within the last decade. It went from being a very popular shopping place, to a place full of a bunch of empty halls and odd clothing stores with inappropriately dressed mannequins on display. It's weird because I just want to take my kids to the mall sometimes but I know that the majority of these stores, in accordance with the world I guess, have half naked mannequins on display. What's with all the stores with the belly shirts, ripped dresses, and stringy lingerie? I saw at least 3 of them... The popcorn store is gone which was an all-time favorite, the broccoli slide is gone from the play area, so it's hard finding a reason to return to the mall anymore, for my family at least. We're a pretty conservative family of 5, for reference.Make the mall family friendly again, guys! That would bring it back to life. When we walked around the mall last weekend, we heard a whole bunch of people complaining about how much it has gone downhill. I don't think it's just simply because of how online shopping has been booming lately, I think it's just because this mall isn't being well maintained. There are a bunch of weird inappropriate stores in it now, the play area has not been well maintained, and the food court has pretty much died so that really explains the decline I guess. I agree with a few of the other reviews I've seen here, the majority of people that are there to visit the mall aren't there to spend money. I really think it would be beneficial for Lindale mall to add more Family friendly stuff!

This mall is a perfect example of the continued downward spiral that enclosed shopping malls are dealing with. There were indeed a lot of empty shops and not much appeal in the walking area. The mall also had very few people, but it was a weekday, so I'm sure that played a factor.

It feels more baren than anything. It has some good stores but not enough that is go there to hang out. Would not recommend the nail salon. Overpriced and not good enough quality for it to be worth the price.

Visited this mall on the way back home from a long trip. It was ok. It could of had more stores. The "food court" didn't have much to choose from.
