“This is a wonderful organization that is making neutering and spaying affordable to anyone that calls and sets up an appointment. The solution to unwanted litters is in making sure the cats and dogs in our community are unable to procreate. They are non judgmental and professional and I hope they will be able to continue this service for many years!”
“I have had two very awesome experiences here!!
1. I recently rescued a stray kitten and being in rough shape I wanted to get her checked out right away. I called my regular vet and they couldn't fit me in for a week, so I did some calling around and found Cedar Rapids Animal Hospital, they were able to fit me in the next day. The staff was very kind and the Vet's are very knowledgeable and are caring towards your pet. They were also way more affordable than other clinics I have been to.
2. Yesterday one of my others cats started having trouble breathing and it was obvious he was very uncomfortable, called my regular vet once again and they couldn't get us in for 3 days. Not wanting to wait, I reached out to Cedar Rapids Animal Hospital and they were able to get him in the same day (a huge relief)! The visit, an x-ray, and some medication and once again I was shocked at the price, walking out for under $300. Anywhere else your looking at $250-300 just for the x-ray. I'm definitely going to make Cedar Rapids Animal Hospital my first choice in the future for any of my pets needs.”
“Been going here for years. Very happy with the service, especially as of late. Other places are cheaper but I've found that you have to go back multiple times to fix an issue with them VS just once at ACH. Dr. Zylstra has been a game changer for that place. He's very informative and easy to deal with.”

“My Shepadoodle had two spots on his leg that he had been licking and biting until they bled. My vet’s office just does well care visits and had no opening for a few weeks, really! The week before I took his sister to the emergency clinic out by the airport for a cut. I paid more than $700 to have it treated, ridiculous. So, I had to find a vet that could treat him as a non-emergency. Heartland did a great job. He had been there before and they got him in right away and examined him. We left with the medication all for less than $100. Great place to bring your pets.”

Along with her great staff! We appreciate all her time, extensive knowledge and ability to get us in. She has definitely saved our two pups on different instances.”

“I’ve always had a good experience at Linn Animal North. They truly care about your pet and do everything they can to help. I know prices are high with everything right now and I respect the quality care they provide for the price I pay. When I had the toughest day of my life with having to put down my 18 year old cat, they were extremely compassionate and patient while explaining everything thoroughly as to make sure I was with them on every step in the process. They even sent a card of condolences after ♥️ I’ll never forget their compassion and will continue to work with them in the future (while recommending them to everyone I can)”

“Very impressed! Our long-term vet recently retired and we transferred to this practice for our dogs (ages 14 and 2 yrs). We came on two different days (my request) and met with two different doctors. Both gave so much time to us, it was remarkable. They had printed out our dogs' entire histories that had been faxed over from our other vet and they had already read everything about their patient(s) before entering the room. My husband and I work in human medicine and I hope we are doing as well!”
