Store has very little stock and unhelpful employees. I have been to larger convenience stores. Eventually this place will close - it’s not a modern store.

I was in True value today. I had six items to buy. A worker helped me with 4 items that were locked up. The worker kind of followed me and noticed that I stopped to look at grass seed, he came to my cart removed the items he helped get and told me he had to put them up front since I was still shopping. This is the first time they have ever said that to me or come up on me in that manner. I told the clerk up front it's a sad day when our culture doesn't trust me to pay for those items. She had no comment. Absolutely no customer service skills. I purchased the items but didn't feel right. When the clerk didn't say thank you or have a good day it made me feel worse. I treat my customers very well I don't act suspicious when they have done nothing. Within 10 minutes I returned the items and told them I would no longer shop there. I didn't feel like I walked into the neighborhood hardware store. The prices are high and customer service is very low. I'm not sure if it was because of me being a woman or because I don't look white enough for them.

When it comes to this place all I can say is where would I be without my baby they're really take care of me and they rock me when it's needed
