We couldn't find anyone out on the floor to ask questions about the products and when we purchased them, we were surprised at how expensive it was. Also I wasn't really impressed with the quality or the performance of the items. Aesthetically they were nice to look at, I'm going to turn a negative into a positive and donate them to the local animal shelter. I believe they'll get better use out of them than I did.

Was passive aggressively shamed for my doodles undercoat matting where their harness lays. We brush him multiple times a week and he is by no means mistreated. They cut off the matted part and put it in a plastic bag by the register to shame us when we picked him up. The grooming service itself was good but we won’t be returning due to the customer service.

PetSmart called me 30 minutes after dropping off my 8 month old 15 lb puppy, claiming he is a safety hazard and needs to be picked up and not welcome to return. They did not tell me how he was a safety concern and he is completely submissive. I feel the staff is not trained to calm down an excited / scared puppy and it’s disappointing they don’t put more effort into training their staff.

Great variety for a wide selection of pets and you can occasionally catch a GREAT DEAL (black Friday people! You need to stock up on black Friday). Normally a little pricey but a thrifty shopper can get what they need with a reasonable budget.

Will abuse your dog if it doesn’t listen, as they aggressively pull on them to groom them. I wouldn’t recommend taking your animal here, my dog was always fine with his paws until after we took him here once, would bite and bark if we touched his paws following the appt, and me and my significant other seen them trimming a small yorky and yelling at it for not listening as they are tugging on its body parts, and yipping for help, completely unacceptable and a terrible place of business. I would suggest a small local business, and get a monthly time slot, or just build the bond with your dog to groom them yourself like I had to rebuild with mine

Corporate has been notified, but Evelyn is a rude and condescending person. Will NEVER step foot in the SW location ever again. The blonde haired female manager is no better as she laughed and smiled during our exchange. Way to make a customer feel heard. Oh and Evelyn...merry christmas

I am just so consistently disappointed in PetSmarts grooming services. For every 1 well done grooming, it's 10 that are subpar. They're definitely not doing everything included in the package and what they are doing is so badly done. This time they didn't bother to clip his back nails and his paw pad shave outs are lazy bordering on negligent.

During our recent visit to Petsmart in Cedar Rapids, we were absolutely thrilled to find a unique Halloween advent calendar and a perfect Halloween costume for our West Highland White Terrier, Parker. The selection of seasonal items was impressive, and it was clear that the store put thought into the range and diversity of products they offer for our furry companions.While shopping, I did notice a few areas of improvement. The store organization could benefit from a bit more attention to detail. Some items weren't in their designated spots, which made shopping a slight challenge. Additionally, cleanliness could be given an extra nudge to ensure a more pristine shopping environment for customers and their pets. Lastly, during our checkout, the lanes were a tad on the longer side. A few more open registers during peak times might alleviate this issue.Nonetheless, our overall experience was largely positive. It's worth celebrating that we were able to find exactly what we were looking for amidst the vast selection. Parker is set to be the star of the season, thanks to Petsmart! We’ll certainly be returning for more of our pet needs.
