No entertainment for the dogs..No toys..Workers don’t let them play.. it’s depressing. It’s supposed to be a daycare not a doggy prison

We really love taking our dog to Pawsitive Paws. The staff is friendly, patient, and very knowledgeable. We have done training and boarding here, and both have been great experiences. Our puppy barks a lot at new people, but after a weekend in boarding, he got very comfortable with one of the trainers and doesn't bark at her anymore. Definitely recommend.

I went there a couple weeks ago. I really couldn't hardly tell the woman groomed my dog at all. He was bathed and fluffy which is not what I wanted. I wanted him less then half the length that we talked about. Then she called me 30 mins later again asking what I wanted. Idk if she didn't start till then or what? When I got him home I took a closer look and his face was trimmed and belly was shaved but that's it. My 1st experience was a lot better so I thought I'd try again but that was a bad idea. I knew from hearing from other passed clients that was a bad idea but I always try to give benefit of the doubt.. nope never again

I worked there for 4 days and that was more than enough. Thankfully my personal business required me to leave or I would have had to leave anyway. The staff did not play with the dogs. Instead, they would watch and yell at the dogs constantly. I've taken my dogs to daycares before and they all have supported play. The point is to burn all the energy. Since the dogs don't have any stimulation to occupy themselves, many high energy dogs would become aggressive to others. These dog owners were notified their dog was not compatible with others, when in fact their dog was just bored. If you were to tour the facility, you will find two separate play areas, no toys or things for them to climb on. You'll also find a smaller outdoor enclosure, with a child's playhouse. Again, nothing for the dogs to play with. I also witnessed breed discrimination, labeling a pit as aggressive when he was only defending himself. These people have no clue what they're doing!

I need to start by saying that I feel like pawsitive paws exclusively has had a huge and positive effect on my puppy! I rescued a 6 month old puppy that has not been socialized. She would bark at strangers and sometimes at dogs as she was afraid/timid. After my puppy spent an extended weekend at pawsitive paws while I was traveling - I can instantly see that she's more comfortable around strangers and other dogs. The owner and staff here genuinely care for the dogs they have in their facility. It puts my mind at rest while I'm away to know that she's being properly taken care of. Fantastic owner and team.

Pawsitive Paws personnel have been very patient and kind with my smart Border Collie and me. She is easily distracted and would like to play with other dogs on the other side of the building. They understand all types of breeds which is invaluable.Connie is the very best!

I am on my second dog going here for both Daycare and various classes. Both dogs were always elated to go. My puppy loves it there. Wish I could take him everyday. Great socialization and exercise for dogs.
