This cute little bookstore we ran upon by accident. It is really a neat little gem! Clearly Frank the cat runs the place and tolerates Bart the amazingly friendly and knowledgeable "guy behind the counter". Frank and Bart are worth the visit!!!

My son and I stop in to this shop each time we go to NewBo. The owner is always so welcoming and his customer service has always been amazing. He takes the time greet each customer. It’s a cute intimate book shop with an array of classics, fiction, non fiction, young adult, and kids books. A must see.
Next Page Books is a locally owned, independent bookstore in the historic New Bohemia neighborhood of Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Established in July 2012, the store was purchased by Bart Carithers in December 2015, and continues to serve the greater Cedar Rapids area.
The store offers a curated selection of fiction, non-fiction, young adult, and children’s books in a warm and inviting environment. The shop may be small but it’s bursting at the seams with best-sellers and award winners, along with greeting cards and other sideline items.
If a customer cannot find the book they’re looking for, we can place a special order and have it in their hands within two-to-five business days. There’s no additional charge for a special order.
