I’m lost the only set of keys for my 2024 Sante Fe and Karl and his team at McGrath fit me in last minute knowing I was leaving town that afternoon and get me a new key!! They were so awesome!

I took my Hyundai in for a recall and was lucky enough to work with Brett. He kept me apprised of the status of where the car was in the process. They did a courtesy inspection for me and also threw in a free car wash. Brett was very personable and professional. I would definitely go through them for other services as well.

Had car in under warranty to fix a few things and one was to replace popped up window trim and window trim was still up after repairing and was told that was best they can do!!!! Will be going to another dealership in the future!

So last Thursday (07/11/24) I had a noise that I wanted looked at before I left for Kansas on Friday. I was told that I needed a whole new rear muffler assembly? So, after picking my car up there with my new rear muffler assembly installed, my car was still making that sound that I brought it in for originally, so I thought I would take care of it when I got back from my trip... So we left Cedar Rapids Friday and by the time I stopped in Des Moines Friday afternoon there was a very loud grinding sound coming the from the back wheel on the passenger side of my car. We were heading down to see our 2-year-old granddaughter. As the trip continued each time that I had to stop the grinding was louder. I was worried I wouldn't make it back to have it looked at. I dropped it off this morning (07/15/24) hoping and praying that this wont turn out to be a massive bill (which it is) for something I am skeptical was done while the new rear muffler assembly was being installed?
I am now being told that it probably wont be looked at today (7/15/24) because you are short a technician and I didn't have an appointment, the thought of driving my car around until it can be looked at makes me more nervous than I am already because I will probably do even more damage than has already been done from driving over 600 miles round trip this last weekend.
About 3 years ago I had brought my vehicle in for a routine oil change, the next day I was driving to Prairie du Chien WI, just south of there my vehicle seized up and quit running. I got towed to a local repair shop that informed me that there was no oil in my engine. So, I got towed from there all of the way back to McGrath. They were kind enough to get me a new engine (sarcasm), but it took several weeks to arrive so I had to pay for a rental until the new engine came in.....
I was seriously considering buying a new vehicle here, but I am now reconsidering.
I have reached out to a couple different McGrath Managers with no response.
I hope when I pick it up tonight that it doesn't have some other freaky issues that I will need to pay to have repaired

I would simply like to take a moment of my time to personally thank Karl in the Hyandai service department. I have been having issues with my Tuscan for awhile now and it seemed to me that nobody was listening since my issue has been ongoing for some time now as a young single mother it made me feel like I was stupid and to be honest it was kind of driving me crazy that nobody would just simply listen. Karl and his team (multiple employees helped calm me down and reassured me that I came to the right place) were wonderful and made me feel that me and my daughter’s safety was their main priority. I won’t lie I had a really bad picture painted in my head about McGrath but yesterday changed that. I would recommend this team of genuine hard working people for any service work! I hope that this reaches them and that they soak this up cause you deserve all the compliments! There was another person whose name I have no idea is but to the women who talked to a very anxiety stricken women on the phone Saturday June 13th around lunchtime, you gave me more reassurance and sympathy then you’ll ever know I needed. I was about to just simply give up on this vehicle and you all as a team are 100% what true customer service is about! Thank you SO much.

Employees are great, prices not so nice. $135 for a 4 quart oil change and tire rotation is ridiculous. Went down the st and had it done for $75

If I could give zero stars, I would. My car took 3 days for a basic oil change and 2 recall orders. My appointment was scheduled over a week in advance, so this should not have happened. I also have NEVER walked into a shop for basic work like that, just for the shop to suggest over $3,000 worth of work. This felt very predatory. When I went to finally pick up my car, I had to wait multiple minutes to be noticed by a "Ford employee". I was very disappointed in the whole process and will not be coming back.
