Delivery is 4-6 weeks. Then they charge you 99.99 to deliver to your house OR just to the store for you to pick up. A friend wanted one sooner and they said she could take the floor model or she could have to wait the 4-6 weeks to get a new one. They would not take any amount off for her to take the floor model. When we went to load up they told us we couldn’t have any plastic or anything to put over it for the ride home said” corporate won’t let us. They loaded it in the back of the truck , but only to the tailgate, said they were not allowed to push it all the way into the truck. They also would not take a check for her to take it home. Couldn’t take it until check had cleared next week. She does not have a credit card and doesn’t like to use the debit card. (Shes85 years old ) when I asked if there was a return policy they said they would take it back but charged a 30% restocking fee. I said it’s coming off the floor, there is no restocking necessary. Again the answer was, it’s policy. I said what about if it’s returned within 24 hrs. ? Answer,… still 30%. I wish I could have convinced her to walk out with no purchase.i will never buy anything there or refer or encourage anyone else too based on these policies, and the overall service . I see your overall rating is 1.7/5 what a surprise. That’s high in my opinion.

A 5 Star experience from our local Lay-Z-Boy Store. Our salesman, Jordan, was so helpful, informed and honest that we bought our recliner on the spot and took it home. This recliner replaces our 19 year old Lay-Z-Boy recliner. We recommend Lay-Z-Boy highly.

I loved my experience! I was greeted right away and was pointed right to the recliners which was why I was there. I sat in the first one I saw and fell in love with it right away! I asked how soon I could get it delivered and the salesman was able to help me with all my questions and got me the exact chair I wanted right away! The protection plan was explained and it was something I knew I needed, and probably one of the best protection plans I’ve seen. Not only did I learn about the that, I learned about the process of how and where I can find where my chair was made which I thought was amazing! I will definitely be a return customer after my first time experience!

We just purchased two Jasper recliners from the Cedar Rapids Iowa store. We worked with Bryan and there was no hard sell, he was informative regarding our choice of the right fabric (with a small dog sharing the chair with us). We are getting the higher rise option that Bryan introduced us to, to address our concerns that it was getting harder as we age, to get out of the chair. Highly recommend L-Z-Boy, this is our second set of chairs.

Bryan was patient as we tried each sofa. He also recommended the best sofa based on our height and stature. They had a sale going on too, so we are happy customers!

I needed a new recliner. I researched recliners online and La-Z-Boy recliners were the only ones that had the features I liked. I determined not to buy one sight unseen. So glad there is a store nearby. Went in, found the one I wanted, and ordered it in the color I wanted. A thoroughly enjoyable experience.

I recently stopped in the La-Z-Boy store in Cedar Rapids looking for assistance. I have an older section and am having trouble putting it together.
I was immediately greeted by Ray! He was kind, patient, am happy to answer and assist me in my inquiries. Bryan and Jonathan came over to further assist! They took apart a sectional and showed me exactly how to reassemble the pieces and even knew the exact screw size for replacements.
I realized that model sectional was only part of a whole. I am missing a piece to my couch and thought it might be nice to buy a replacement piece to make it bigger.
Unfortunately I didn't know the name or exact color of my sectional. Ray, Jonathan and Bryan collaborated to try and figure it out. They were running all over the store with swatches of colors!
I have a giant 100 pound Aussiedoodle and unfortunately he is pretty stinky. I asked Ray if he had any suggestions on cleaning my sectional. He then showed my the special enzyme pet cleaner kit. It is universal and can be used on most furniture. They also had a wood care kit too!
It was my lucky day because they were on super clearance! Normally the kits are $40.00 but they were on sale for $9.00. I bought pet care kits for my sisters too!
Ray then brought over Riley to meet me. She is a custom designer for La-Z-Boy. The design service are completely free and the choices are endless.
Cambrie was a cheerful friendly face to welcome and greet customers and bid them a farewell and and a thank you.
The team at La-Z-Boy mad me feel so special and honestly, I have never had a better shopping experience. I came in with questions and they went above and beyond.
I would love to purchase a new furniture set from La-Z-Boy but unfortunately it isn't currently in my budget. The team at La-Z-Boy could have ignored me. They could have figured out that I wouldn't be buying furniture and go about their day. The could have been irritated or annoyed at my series of questions but they didn't. What they did do is leave a last impression that I will never forget.
I have already made a tennitive date with my friend that is looking for furniture. I told her all about my experience and she thought it sounded fun.
Customer service is so important for a business to be successful. Word of mouth is the best advertising that money can't buy.
I truly hope that the executives at La-Z-Boy realize and value their staff. In Cedar Rapids, Iowa they are making lasting impression, that I am happy to share to the world.
I am not a secret shopper and I am not being paid to write this review. I asked if it would be helpful to write one, it is also well deserved! I think more consumers should take the time to share their positive experiences and that is exactly what I wanted to do.

Phil, the sales associate, Riley, the design consultant, and other staff gave us five-star personalized experience. We highly recommend La-Z-Boy in Cedar Rapids. Their products are high quality and American made.
