Our daughter needed her car repaired asap and 1 phone call to J's Auto was all it took. Same day service! She was so thankful. Not being acquainted with any service centers in the area, she now has a place she can go to.

Had an oil line blow out on my Toyota Highlander and was an hour away from home with my 8 year old daughter. They immediately got me in found the parts I needed and got me fixed up. Almost impossible to find good service like this anymore so great full for their help!

My husband and I were driving back to Orlando from North Dakota. Right before we got to Cedar Rapids our battery light came on and we knew it couldn't be the battery since it was brand new. We stopped at the first shop we found in Cedar Rapids, they confirmed it was the alternator and quoted close to $1200 just to replace it. I immediately started calling every auto shop I could find in the area but most were closing so they didn't answer. J Street was the ONLY shop to call me back and I'm sure glad they did. They said to bring it in the morning and they would squeeze us in. Our brakes started to make noise that night. We took the car in and mentioned the brakes. The staff were super friendly and helpful. They got us in right away they replaced the alternator, rear brakes and rotors and we drove out of there with big smiles on our faces because not only were they awesome people, the dog was awesome and we paid a whole heck of a lot less than shop number 1 quoted for the alternator alone. Highly recommend J Street

Walked in for my 10:00 appointment. A younger man hardly greeted me. The man then acted like I was an issue for showing up to the appointment. He didn't seem to know there was an appointment set and that I was being an inconvenience. Completely rude and offputting. My husband has used this place in the past and had zero issues. Left without getting any work done. This review won't matter and I'm sure the guys at the shop will get a laugh.

Tony fixed my AC for only $300 when the dealership quoted me $2,000. Since then, I've been going for all my repair needs.

I just moved to the Cedar Rapids area about a month ago and had no clue what were good autobody shops around here, but my coworker highly reccomended Js street auto. It was a great decision! They got me an appointment the day after I called and were super polite! It was an inexspensive and quick visit. My girlfriend and I will definitely be coming back in the future.

If I could give J Street a 10 stars, I would. Tony truly is the best mechanic in town. He is patient and explains thoroughly what needs fixed and what can wait to be fixed. He will never try to rip you off. Outstanding service!

Tony is so down to earth straight forward. He explained things where I could relate. His other employee that day was kind as well and they got my car in and out same day. The grinding sound is gone the car ride smoother brakes work perfect thank you so much J Street Auto.

My Car blew a tire on the road near their shop. While I was digging around trying to locate the spare someone from this shop spotted me and told me to limp it in to their shop. They changed my tire for no charge, and sent me on my way. They were knowledgeable about where I should go to find a matching tire, as mine was not repairable.
I am so thankful. I didnt even know this shop was in my neighborhood but will use their services from now on.
