Hyvee always has what I need they have great meats and a great selection of cheese along with really good bakery items especially fried cinnamon rolls the only down side is the self check outs other than that I have almost no complaints

Good experience until check out. The lady who checked me out was more interested in her phone. I purchased $20 of sushi. When she bagged it, she tossed the nice packages of sushi into the bag, causing the sushi to turn into balls of rice. What a mess. When I took my bags of upside-down sushi packages, I repositioned up right. The lady gave me a look and stated that it was all there!!! I mentioned I was setting up right my sushi because it was a mess. She then gave me a disapproval look and went back to her phone. So disappointed in Hyvee's helpfulness, they need to train their people better. It will be a long time before returning.

Very little customer service. Higher prices than anywhere else in town except for NewPi, but the quality of food at NewPi justifies the price. They have eliminated check out employees with automated machines, but never have them all in or working so customers end up waiting even longer to do the checkout labor themselves all so Hy-Vee can increase their profit margin rather than passing savings in to customers. Just another money hungry chain, at this point. Sad.

Hy Vee has the best variety and quality produce. The bakery's bread is delicious, and their pumpkin bars are as good as homemade. The meat department is large with many varieties of homemade sausage. I appreciate that I can get it in patties.

Same ol' same ol'. Not what it used to be. On the whole a fairly average shopping experience. Workers need better leadership. Management on the local level could use more support from up top.
