This is a fairly new center for my daughter and we have loved it here. She is always excited and happy to go to daycare and always comes home with stories about her day. Staff is also always so easy to talk with.

Beyond frustrated with this center. I feel like the kids are not being watched properly. There are half walls between each room. I have continuously watched staff on the tablet, on the counter with back to the kids...a room full of 2 year olds.More than once at drop off I stood and wait to see staff...they EVENTUALLY come out of bathroom with a kid. There needs to be a better way to CONTINUOUSLY watch the kids. THEY ARE 2My child has been bit more times than I can count and many of those have been serious bites. I feel like it is the same few kids and it never gets addressed properly. So many times I dred dropping mine off as I don't feel she is safe.Next week we start a different location. I am scared that the same practices will take place.I have watched the staff socializing with one another instead of giving children their full attention. Sitting outside with backs to the kids, etc.I have addressed my concerns with staff and the center director. Not once have I felt like any changes were implemented. There recently have been new staff and some of those have been great. Hopefully they don't pick up the bad habits of older staff. If you want to feel like your kids are safe and properly supervised this is not the center for you.Highlight of this center would definitely be the baby room. Those staff are exceptional and that is why I gave 3 stars and not 2

Wouldn't recommend this place unless you want your child traumatized by all yelling at your child and others! I cannot believe they allow this to take place and call it care! Definitely look elsewhere for actual care for your little one(s)!

Everyone there was very helpful and they were very careful who came into their facilities. Also when the pandemic came about, they followed the guidelines as well. Even though my child is no longer there, she loved going and I know she will miss going.

This place is just what I needed. It's ran very well and it seems to be working like it's supposed to be. The staff is very friendly and attentive, which makes me very comfortable to leave my son with them and it's a lot of adorable freaking kids that attend here as well. Yes, I would recommend any& everyone that needs childcare services to know this is a great place to take your kids.

I honestly hate to give Kindercare by Lindale road in Cedar Rapids, Iowa any stars.I was completely disappointed and disgusted with this facility. It is clearly the most FILTHY- DIRTY - VERY UNORGANIZED child care facility I have ever seen. It made me sad to see children in this environment.DHS or the Iowa dept of public Health & State Inspection really need to make an unannounced visit to this facility. The child to adult ratio was clearly understaffed by 3 or 4 times the maxamiun permissible limit.I OBSERVED ... Spilled food, puddles of milk that had been spilled by multipule children nothing had not been cleaned up in a timely manor. While some staff who were not assisting children ignored these pertinent issues I found that in it's self to be unsettling.Safety & Standards should be every employees responsibility.leaving questionable situations unattended tells a visitors such as myselfNO ownershipNO concernNO value of a work place other than a pay check. While being a visitors and being required to step over or step in the spills is simply unsatisfactory on every level in any facility.I observed Children fighting, crying, hitting one another. The LACK of staff and LACK of motivation by some of the employees was disturbing. Staff demonstrating the un-willingness to work or do their job is simply a crime. These are children, these Children are little people who are dependent on the employees to provided a safe and clean environment. The Staff here need standards of accountability and acceptability.Obviously being short staffed and not having nearly enough help or good help is an issue of concern. I am fairly certain there are a few darn good employees that do more than their fair share how ever they can not do it all.I noticed several employees managing to do nothing but congregate at the front desk, as though the screaming children, choes, filthy floors and unkempt general areas of business seemed to be of no ones responsibility or concern.I OBSERVED staff who were chatting or being sedentary did Nothing to resolve any of these issues.NO cleaning up of the spilled foodNO crisis intervention of the fighting children NO tending to the disgruntled children, not to mention the smell of soiled diapers that was quite prevalent.NO organisation of structured time that I seenAnd if there is documentation I would seriously question it.From a safety stand point safety is everyone responsibility. Everyone needs to be aware of slip, trips, and fall hazzards:this is an issue of concern not just for the children but the staff and visitorsDo to the chaos and disorganization and complete disregard for cleanliness in this facility with the exception of the infant room this facility is an accident waiting to happen if not already.Kindercare by Lindale Rd in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, has some serious safety concerns.I OBSERVED some very poor house keeping practices. Severely Understaffed and lack of structure.I did not see or observe any structured time or learning objectives. This place needs some qualified oversight and management with structure and housekeeping being a priority.I'm seriously looking forward to reading the reviews from the state of Iowa inspection and review.

I was very apprehensive about leaving my new baby in the care of someone else but I was quickly impressed with the care provided by this center. My son is now 3 and I wouldnt consider changing his care unless I had no other option. The staff in every room take time to get to know my child personally and work with my family to get through any issues I have encountered (with my son or others). Children are children, they make messes, they fight, they cry - this is present in every child care situation, but I am comforted by the fact that all situations will be handled in the best way possible here. My son gladly goes to all of his teachers and some days I cant even get him to leave. I rest easy knowing the staff are approachable and considerate and my child is getting the best teaching and care. This center has set my expectations high!

Absolutely Incredible and Highly recommend Kinder care East if you have children needinga fun, safe atmosphere while you are at workor school. Myself as well as friends have little one's who attend this facility, they have a very helpful team there that has helped with my friends child with learning disabilities, as well as my own children. The management team is always very prompt with answering questions as well as courteous. The building has always been well kept, clean and very organized.I without any doubt would suggest, using this business to watch over your little one's.

My son attends KinderCare. I like how the teachers quickly got to know him as an individual. You can tell this is not just a job for these teachers. They quickly became a part of our family. I cant wait to pick my son up each day and hear the stories from teachers and management about his day.

My kiddos have been going here for just a little over a week. They are great. They are able to get services for children with special needs. And don't just kick your child out of daycare. They work with you and your child. They are kind and communicate.

As a first time mom, finding a daycare for our son was hard. Trusting strangers to care for your child is even harder. Kindercare East has been wonderful; they meet all of our son's developmental needs with structured programs, his emotional needs with lots of cuddles, and they take the time to get to know the kids and their families. They made a first time mom trust them.I am a breastfeeding mother; they supported me by reading the material I gave them, encouraged me to breastfeed at drop-off and pick-up (working with me to avoid extra pumping) and they have a woman in the infant room that is a certified breastfeeding counselor! We cloth diaper our son. Most centers refuse to allow this. Not Kindercare. They worked with us and that was a huge plus. They go the extra mile. They are in constant communication through email or phone. They send pictures of our son to me to make my day better by showing me how much fun he has with his teachers. They call with a heads-up if he has a rough day. These are people who care.In addition, they working towards accredation which shows that they want to do what is best for your kid.I can't say enough about the staff. We have been with them for 4 months, and love it.
