Note: If I could give this place a zero rating, I absolutely would!I went to Dupaco nearly 6 years ago at the recommendation of a dear friend. I deposited a sizeable amount of money to open my accounts, and subsequently obtained an unsecured personal loan which I paid back in less than six months. Following the end of my third new vehicle lease, I applied at Dupaco for a Mini Max loan on a much less expensive vehicle and was denied. I was denied even though I had a credit score at that time exceeding 780 and had never once had a late or missed payment on any vehicle lease/loan in my lifetime. Afterwards, I was quickly approved at the dealership for a highly competitive lease rate without any of the hassles experienced at Dupaco! Fast forward three years to 06/30/2023, I decided to give Dupaco another chance to fund a Mini Max vehicle loan! With no missed payments and good credit, I had my time wasted and took a hit to my credit score while again having my application denied. I have never been denied vehicle financing in my lifetime, except by Dupaco! I hope by sharing my experiences at Dupaco, I may prevent others from having an equally bad experience! It felt so good to close my accounts and take my business elsewhere! F.Y.I. - Upon closing my accounts and leaving, I was quickly approved at the dealership for my fifth vehicle lease with none of the difficulties of dealing with Dupaco!

I have been banking with dupaco community credit Union for several months now. I changed banks after my previous bank got bought out. I had been with them for 20 years. My experience with the dupaco on 1st avenue has been very pleasant. The staff is very nice and welcoming. I have observed them treating other customers the same. The dupaco locations in Marion and on Edgewood are different in that they have minimals staffing. All of the banking is done by ATM or a teller via video conferencing. The first time I did this I was a little nervous, but actually it works out well. There is at least one staff available to assist you in using the video conferencing if you're not comfortable with it at first. Overall, I think this is a great institution and look forward to banking with them for many years.

I've never had a bad experience with any staff at Dupaco. They even sent my husband and myself a congratulations card after we were married. Treat those around you how you want to be treated. They're doing the BEST they can. Thank you Dupaco for your kindness and understanding each and every time we come in. I'm grateful for all of you.

Extremely slow.. why would you have both lanes open when your only really servicing the first lane and making everyone in the second lane wait forever.

Dupaco Cedar Rapids SW branch. Worst credit union I have ever joined. ATM is always out of money. Very rude staff. I once complained because only one person was working the drive-thru (7 cars waiting) and three tellers were idle with no customers in the lobby. When I mentioned this a man walked out of his office and raised his voice at me saying there were 4 drive-thru lanes open. I reminded him that he only had one teller working those four lanes. He continued to be hostile and I left. When I closed my accounts I left some negative feedback and was hung up on.
