This place once was where you would go to find a great deal. Prices on some items are higher than what you would find at Menard's or Harbor Freight.More than average number of the staff are grouchy.Overall, I still like this store and visit monthly.

They just did me dirty today. After having head lady approval of return of my things before I purchased because I was buying eight things of the same but different sizes and only needed two. Y'all are thirsty and bogus for that. I probably spend $150 to 200 per month in your store and will never again. You're selling donations for as much as you can and then doing dirty tactics on the returns. #Robstore

I didn't purchase much on my moat recent visit. That said, I had a good time looking around at the variety of stuff the Cedar Valley Restore. I can usually find something that piques my interest.

My wife and I loved this place. The volunteers were all friendly and helpful. I had donated home goods before but we made an old greenhouse out of some of our old home windows and got antique hinges and handles there. They found out I was a handyman and restored electronics and really wanted me to volunteer. When I retire in a fee years I am!

Some good deals. If you go looking for something specific, you'll likely be disappointed. It's fun to walk through and discover some interesting finds.

Restore acrossed Iowa has been my go to place since they first opened for building supplies, mostly, but the ocassional piece of furniture. Comparing prices across a number of stores I find the Cedar Rapids store is much more pricy considering most everything they get is donated. Yes, it is less than new price, but most of the time it is used and far from perfect. I bought a small refrigerator there that was "tested" and ran, however, it froze everything as the thermostat apparently didn't work. They had a three day policy for taking things back and I live 30 miles away and couldn't make it in time. They wouldn't take it back so I was stuck having to pay the recycle fee on top of losing my money on something that didn't work right. I don't waste my time going there anymore as a result.

We have done A Lot of shopping at Restore over the last 4 years. We go at least once a month. Generally we are just looking but always find little treasures. Sometimes big treasures. Fantastic prices, the staff is so Friendly and helpful and knowledgeable about Everthing. Absolutely love this place.

Really wish that they had carpet remnants like they had when they were in Hiawatha, they don't have near what they used to for floors. They need a bigger space!!
