This is a really cool record store in Iowa. I went to visit while my son was playing college baseball against the University of Iowa and I am so glad I took the drive. They have a very cool mix of new vinyl with a lot of re-issued hidden gems from the 60s and 70s and they have a great selection of used vinyl, I was very pleased with what I purchased during my visit, some cool re-issues and some hard to find titles in the youth section. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable and the pricing was extremely fair anytime I'm in the area I'm going to make a return visit.

Very enthusiastic owner. You can tell he's into music after just a few minutes of conversation. He's great on advice and ideas and is very informative regarding old vinyl equipment. And he must have bought some older dude's 70's record collection, because he was heavy with classic rock albums on our visit.Yes, I did see a smattering of punk albums.He also had some nice Pioneer receivers and JBL speakers. One can't help but find some great records at reasonable prices while going through the stacks.My fav record store in the area.

My fiancé and I were looking for someone to help us restore his dad’s 30+ year old turntable and amp that we had in storage. Jeremy is the man for the job! He is friendly and extremely knowledgeable. I had a reputable shop in Arkansas tell me that we should just get a new one, but Jeremy listened to us and fixed it in less than a day. He walked us through exactly what he was doing and showed us how to set it up at home (as we’re new to vinyl). We could not be happier! Not to mention, we were able to snag a couple of albums we had been looking for to add to our collection! Thank you, Jeremy!

Stopped in on a visit to Cedar Rapids from Chicago and had an enjoyably hour and half to zoom through the curated collection of used records offered up at the Analog Vault. A measure of any used record store can sometimes be based on stock available on any given day. I found a ton of interesting finds and had a great conversation with one of the owners. Clearly Jeremy is passionate about music, vinyl and providing his community with a place to experience them. They offer some new vinyl and gear too! I usually try to snag a t-shirt when I can to help support small business and the Vinyl Vault shirt is one of the softest tees I have ever found! Don’t miss this gem of a store.
