The people who came to load our track were very fast and efficient. We had a 3 bedroom house and some big furniture pieces. It only took them 3 hours to load everything into a truck and were on their way. When out things showed up in Louisiana everything was in great shape and loaded to our storage facility quickly with no problems. I defiantly would recommend them again woth out any questions.

Sales man, Mike, and driver, Scott, were amazing. Brenda was awesome as well. Move went great. The only improvement I could see would be that the company needs to make sure the drivers have confirmed help at destination for unloading and not make the drivers have to scramble to find help.

The team did a great job all around. They were friendly, worked hard and were careful to leave the house and all of our items in great condition. I highly recommend Maher Brothers and Allied.

This was our fourth cross-country move. Based on our previous experiences with other moving companies, Allied’s communication was very poor. It seemed like no one was responsible for keeping us informed on delivery updates. We had to call every step of the way to find out what was going on and were made to feel like we were bothersome for asking for simple information. At no point did anyone initiate or volunteer information without us calling first. Packers did not label boxes correctly and did not include any details on labels. Our shipment was put into multiple warehouses during the process and we ended up with an ant infestation on our sofa from this storage process. We were not informed ahead of time that Allied would not be scheduling a driver for our shipment prior to the move date, nor were we informed that our shipment would be placed in storage multiple times due to this. We recommend that Allied Cedar Rapids improves their communication and transparency going forward. If they are not able to guarantee that they will have a driver ready to transport the shipment, customers need to know this before scheduling the move.

Our move went incredibly smooth from estimate, to scheduling, to pickup and delivery. Our driver Scott was very professional and went above and beyond in his service. Highly recommend Allied for any long distance move.

Driver was in an argument with our neighbors and police had to be called. Truck not big enough and damaged items.

The mover decided he could park at the end of my drive way blocking me in while he spent the day moving my neighbor. He said it was legal. I had places to go. Really upsetting. It is not legal, I just spoke to our police department.

I went to their website trying to see if I could get a quick estimate. They don't tell you that you have to have someone come out to your home to give you a quote until after you've entered all the info about your potential move. It states that you have to contact them, and since I'm just trying to be prepared for a big move next year, I decided to pass it up. HOWEVER, despite their website saying YOU have to contact them, I received 7 separate calls starting at 8am the next day, as well as a couple text messages. Due to this literal spam, I will not be using Allied Van Lines for my move, or ever.
