I have reviewed this place before but the last couple of time I've contacted them, things have been very different. Since 2 of their main guys left, (esp. Nick) they don't even seem personable anymore. I've taken my car there for years, and now it's like I'm a stranger...a number. Thankful I found The Shop auto repair in Cedar Falls!!!!

It's great when somebody promises a good thing and delivers. That happened. The really amazing thing is when someone makes you expect bad news and then it turns out to not happen. "Doing a code read is going to be $25. Actually, no it's not. There's going to be a surcharge for credit. Oops, looks like there's not." They do good work at a good price point.

If you want fast and friendly service! I would recommend Tandem Tire & Auto Service to anyone in the Cedar Valley for their auto repair needs. My vehicle wouldn't start and in just a few hours they had it back up and running with reasonable price!

This place is fantastic, fast and friendly. It's scary when you need to get your vehicle repaired. You never know if your going to be treated fairly and most people just have to blindly trust in the mechanics word. I was recommended to Tandem when I first moved here. When I found myself needing a mechanic this is where I went. I was very impressed with the quality and speed of this shop. Not only that, they were honest and they didn't gouge on the pricing. I'm a forever customer.

Flushed my transmission fluid after I asked them not to. Did not do my brake fluid like I asked them to do. They did let me come in and get the brake fluid flushed on the house. But not a fan of having my transmission fluid flushed.
