Called in 2.5 weeks ago and wanted to have some work done on my vehicle - specifically asked that they were going to order the part as I know it's not a part they would keep in stock and they said it would be ordered and be here at the time of installation.
Dropped off my car Saturday night for an all day appointment on Monday. The only communication I got all day was at 4:30 letting me know that they didn't even have the part in. Called Tuesday morning asking why I was never notified of the part not being in and they said "it had an eta of Monday morning"... but the part is not running late - the part hasn't even been ordered so not sure how there could be an eta for a part that was never ordered.
Either way - communication was terrible. Sentiment from Janet is "tough luck" - no sorry for not letting you know and/or wasting my time.
I get that there are difficulties in the ordering process but 0 communication until the end of the day that it's suppose to be completed is terrible.
I hate dealing with mechanics and car dealerships and up until this point Dan Deery has been great to work with until now.

I didn't get a car from this location, but I come here often to look at cars. They often have pretty cool cars in the lot if you're interested. I've test drove a few and the salesmen have been wonderful. I was offered a pretty decent deal on one of the cars.
Only negative experience was when they refused to budge on a used car I attempted to buy. It was overpriced. There are too many options nowadays and I refuse to pay for an overpriced car, especially a basic car. That one experience is not enough to give them any less than 5 star rating.
The atmosphere is awesome. It's a beautiful dealer.

Bought a used 2011 Raptor from Randy Spiers in July and took for a short test and Radio did not work which they agreed to have fixed at Iowa City location. While driving vehicle home an experienced a noice when I accelerated. I contacted Randy right away and he said to have Iowa location look at when the radio was being fixed. Nate was my service advisor at Iowa City location. I let him know about the noise and said he would look into. I contacted Nate at end of day and could not get radio working and needed a part ordered. He then said they heard no noise. I Then researched noise from Raptor and they said it is a common issue with vacuum line needing replaced. When I picked up the truck the service tech and I took it for a ride and he heard the noise before leaving the parking lot. Nate then said that is a common issue and ordered the part. Three weeks later and three more times I had the truck dropped off to fix radio. On the engine noise Randy and Carl said the vehicle was sold as is and not there problem even though I had a 90 day service, but would not cover the repair and I was charged almost $800. Not happy and will not return for any future purchases or service. Carl I would never do business with again, he does not back up vehicles he has sold. Again avoid Carl. Randy did what he could, but Carl is the example of a used car salesman.

We bought our daughter’s car here. Wally Johnson is who helped us. He was great. He was professional, polite, and even after he sold us the car he was still very quick to respond to us when we had questions and even contacted us afterwards to make sure we were 100% satisfied. Everyone else was super friendly as well.

My car buying experience at Dan Deery Toyota was exceptional! I worked with Justin who was professional, friendly, and did not pressure his sale. I felt I could take my time as I checked back at the business three times before making my decision. He was easy to deal with. Talking with the business manager Colton was one of the best experiences I had going through the paperwork. Even though I said no to what he was offering in terms of warranty, he was great in letting me make my choice. Thanks to these two for kicking off a new Toyota dealership to work with in the future. I love my new Versa!

Salesman Carlos went above & beyond when helping me purchase a vehicle. He was so genuine & kind. He was trustworthy and came through with everything promised, all my questions, took the vehicle to detailing for perfecting and assured me of gold certification status. He even offered to come in on his day off. Collin in internet sales was also excellent to put this deal together. Steven in finance wrapped up the paperwork efficiently & made it easy. The dealership came through on giving me good trade-in value. I would definitely go back! Great experience! Thanks Dan Deery Toyota! Happy customer ?
