If you’re looking for a true locally owned hardware store, Cedar Falls Ace True Value is the place! Keys, hardware, gardening, you name it. They’ve got it, or their extremely helpful staff will take you right to the product you’re looking for. Shout out to Garrett for helping me in the key department and Max for a wonderful and quick checkout experience.

Staff was professional, knew what product to recommend. We're extremely helpful when my car broke down right in front of the store, emptying the transmission fluid on their parking lot. I truly appreciate their kindness!! Oh, and they do repair lamps!!

Horrible customer service! Everyone looked the other way when I went to walk up to them. Nobody greeted me at all. When I tried to talk to the old looking man behind the counter he ignored me and wouldn’t give me a back for my items. I would recommend going literally anywhere else!

I was there looking to purchase a tool set. While shopping I looked online to see reviews on the tool set as I was concerned about the quality. In searching review info I noticed the price was $50 less. I asked the associate if they did any price matching and she said buy it on Amazon in a rather rude tone and walked away. I understand the answer is no, I just thought a more professional response could have been provided. I shop here often and I usually know prices are higher, however I choose to shop local when I can. I will reconsider shopping here next time I’m in the area.
