I had a pedicure and the operators of this salon don’t use appropriate sterilization or desinfección practices of their tools. A rinse-off of their files and other work tools is not sufficient to remove dead skin ??and calluses left in their tools. Ladies we can easily contract athletes foot and who knows what else —These folks are transferring bacteria from one customer to the next again and again. THEY JUST DONT PRACTICE ASEPTIC TECHNIQUES. The cheap prices can cost you expensive treatments and Dr. bills.
$37 ??for a regular pedicure it’s not exactly cheap either. I quit going there as I developed itchiness all over my feet ?? If I complain to them do you think they will understand or honor the customer? ……. I don’t think so…… Besides there’s no paper trail they don’t issue receipts they don’t track the payment transactions, I’m not sure they file taxes either because they don’t charge sales tax. They only want cash ? ?
I wish I took photos of him just rinsing off the file he used on my feet and passed it down to the next chair, a lady who was also getting a pedicure. I wonder how they handle the other services I sure wouldn’t want to try or take my children there. ??
Cleanliness: As I mentioned before they’re a long ways to cleanliness or safety for our health.
Should the health department get involved?, I’m not sure!? I just hope that the operators of “#1 salon” on University Av. read this review and make serious changes to their practices as THEY HAVE OUR HEALTH IN THEIR HANDS. I don’t feel comfortable so I have to put a solution to it by quit going there and leaving my two cents here. THANKS!

I had called Thursday morning to make a nail appointment. I had made it for 5:30 they said it would be fine and to come in. I come in and it’s packed . No one waiting and ready to do my nails I BOOKED AN APPOINTMENT. they told me a couple minutes a couple minutes turned into TWO HOURS and when they finally wanted to do my nails I left because that’s unprofessional and inconsiderate. I’ve heard they are one of the best nail salons in cedar falls but customer service & appointments don’t meet the standards. I am very disappointed.

The gal that did my nails told me that my nails would look pretty if they were long. I look better in short nails.

Got a pedicure, first Lady didn’t know what she was doing, had a second lady come and have to fix her work. Charged $45 for just paint and lotion. Anywhere else I’ve ever been it’s $45 for a full pedicure experience, scrub, lotion, paraffin wax, hot towels, etc.Service: Pedicure
