“Ok, so here’s my take on Aldi. Overall Aldi’s is a good deal. But, for myself, I am a stickler for cleanliness and different ALDIs have their own standards. In Omaha, I shop in only three. Freshness of produce varies widely and changes daily. With that said, Aldi has many many bargains and is worth the effort to shop there. It’s quirky and European. I am continuing to shop here.”

“Their salsa from the deli is the best I've ever had. People from all parts of Omaha go there to get it fresh. I drive up from Papillion every few weeks. You might have to wait in line 10-15 minutes to get the salsa, but well worth the wait. They don't accept debit or credit cards. Bring cash or use their ATM. Their ground beef enchiladas from the deli are very good as well.”

“EggsMilkHalf & Half are my Main items from there...However,Great selection of coffee in the far back corner..Items in the freezer section change from week to week...If you find something you really enjoy,Get right back there.Next week they might not have the same item.Their giant pizzas are good and inexpensive...However,Some of the produce items are sold in such a large packaged portion,I'd never finish it all before it was no longer fresh...If you Need large quantities for low price,Go For It...!BTW....Carts are a quarter to unlock..It comes back out when returned to the cart row...Or, some walking back with their will offer their cart..Give them your quarter..It's Omaha though, lots of times you'll hear:" Just take it, No Problem "Cause,This IS The Midwest ..”

“Went here with my best friend for the first time and wondered what took me so long. They were so nice and helpful. And let’s not even go over the choices of FISH and AUTHENTIC African seasonings inside was remarkable. “Manager Kim was very polite. I had bad experience at this store. I told her and she wanted me to do survey. I went back next day. Same results. She also mentioned day of storm, she was in trouble for closing early. She cares about employees that is rare and needed more. Keep her there. I prefer this store to any other dollar stores.”

“Like most natural food stores it's a little pricey, but less than Whole Foods Store it seems. They do have some sales, and a decent selection, especially lots of supplement options! Keep an eye on cashier and total paid at check out. Have had a couple questionable experiences, but it has improved. Bring your own bag. They do keep small boxes around by the check-out, but use them sparingly.”

“For price, I still do much of my shopping at ALDI for staple items but for convenience, great sales, meat or certain products I do pop into this Hy-Vee frequently. Periodically they have some fantastic coupons in the weekly ads although they are going more and more paperless all the time. I stopped in to get a few things and a loaf of Rotella's bread for 88 cents (because really, you can't pass that up). They've added more self check lanes since my last review so I used one but I wasn't sure how to scan/use the coupon. The young guy manning the self check was super helpful above and beyond. He didn't make me feel like a nuisance, just a customer with a question. And now I will know for next time! I wish I would have gotten his name, he did a great job providing the "helpful smile in every aisle".”

“I went in to buy my FAVORITE grapes (Autumn Crisp) a crunch in every single grape and no seeds ..I also bout done seafood, stuffed shrimp, appetizers for my freezer for a quick get together ...and I saw this leather soft faux leather..little piggy ottoman..it is so adorable! I had to have it! I also bought some sets of silky 2 piece pajamas (shorts and button down tops) ...great value...service is fast and easy every time I'm there...and cashier is so very polite and happy to be there...I absolutely LOVE Aldi...you never know what you will find!”
