I just put diesel fuel in my service truck at Sparky's in Cherokee. When it was full, the handle clicked and shut off. However the pump continued adding gallons to my total. I had an 1/8 of a tank or a little more when I stopped. My tank bone dry, holds 15 gallon. It said I pumped 17.868 gallons. I talked to 2 people, and no one could could tell me anything. They said, well what do you want me to do about it.

A couple months ago, the mail carrier delivered us a certified letter from Al's Corner. The letter said Sparkeys in Churdan recieved a bad check from us. What a surprise to us!!! We have never written a bad check. I called my bank first, they had no knowledge of a bad check. I then called Josie at Al's corner and she informed me she made a mistake. Well the wife was humiliated in front of our mail carrier and I'm sure the other postal employee's saw the letter also. It kind of destroyed our reputation. Josie ensured me she would handle the situation. Well 2 days ago the wife needed gas and purchased at the Churdan Sparkeys again. She went in to pay in front of 4 customers, the cashier told her she couldn't accept a check from us because we wrote them a bad check. Way to handle the situation Josie. The wife was again totally humiliated in front of a bunch of people this time. I called Josie and told her we want a public apology in the paper, doesn't sound like we'll get one, but she said Cindy will be calling me back. I kind of feel they think we are being buttheads for expecting them to resolve this issue they created. If they resolve this I will post here to let everyone that reads reviews know.

We needed LP for our house and the owner of the company told us that his driver does not like going to our house because we have a small tank. And that we need to find somewhere else to get our propane (mind you we are out of propane and its 50 degrees in our house and no hot water) and the last time I bought gas for my car from a Sparkys it screwed my car up pretty bad and it also happened to a friend and their diesel. I would give zero stars but that is not an option. I am contacting the BBB about this and sugjest to anyone who goes through Al's Corner or the dump Sparkys chains to think again.
