Contacting them is a hassle let alone getting maintenance requests done. It took months to get a dryer replaced that was leaving clothes soaked. I've also been without a fridge for the last week and they show no concern of repairing it until after the new year. Merry Christmas and happy new year your fridge is broke and we won't come to fix it!Their contracting groups for building repairs or additions is terrible they leave nails and chemicals every where and also smoke weed in the vacant apartments. They have done work on the front of our building and have left it looking terrible and have no signs of finishing the work until spring. I enjoyed living here the first year and even was fine with all the land lord specials in my apartment but now I am just disappointed in the management and professionalism of this company.Went down to the office today about my fridge and was told to move out if I don't like it.

I've lived here for 16 years. Do not recommend it for many reasons. Not going to go into detail. Beware.

Horrible experience. The landlord walked in without knocking or wearing a mask. Insulted the place. Saying our place smelled like cat piss while we were cleaning a litter box. Disrespectful to our cats. Wouldn't recommend this place at all.I was told that manager have to give a 24 hour notice to show up. The manager would show up out of the bloom and start pounding on my door. Only then they would call. I work at 3rd shift so im not a morning person or they always come while im still at work. Only reason why i know they come is because my neighbor informs me. This place isnt professional.I have alot of problems with this place. The first time i knew this place was in the wrong was during the big winter storm and a water pipe burst in the only laundry room that this place has. So when i called to warn them, they asked me to fix it or get someone out there to fix it before they call their handy men.I have so many more negatives then positives. I really think the only positive thing here is how nice my neighbors are. First two months moving in and there was a bed bug problem then i was told other bugs are here too. Then got a talk about saying if our apartment is clean to her standards we get evicted. Which having the place clean is fully understandable. But to threaten us because our place wasnt cleaned to her likings because we had some dirty dishes is a very far stretch.I know alot of people arent gonna read this, but even if it just warns one person it will be better then none

I do not recommend renting from this company. I currently rent an apartment from them in Clinton, IA. I would have said just dont rent from my particular complex because the lane that leads into our garages does not get salted in the winter to where tenants can get in or out. They do plow from time to time, but when they do it's usually hours after the snowfall. The lane itself is on a hill so to get out of the garage and up the lane is impossible unless you have 4 wheel drive. I've watched two tenants move out this winter due to this issue and the companies refusal to help the situation. When winter hit and we 1st had the problem and brought it to the property managers attention we were informed that it is always a huge problem, but was never told this at lease signing. I will say the property manager tried her best to lay bags of salt down here and there but for 1 person to salt a lane this size with tiny bags of salt is im sure just to huge a task for 1 person. We had to walk in below 0 weather to grocery stores due to being snowed in and the lane not being plowed or salted. They do have about 5 parking spots at the top of the hill at the end of the lane that people can use, but during the snow and an apartment complex this size there is never enough open spots, not to mention a few vehicles that were parked there and broke down all winter long and were never towed. We left several messages with the office manager, but to no avail. We paid rent on a 2 car garage that we didn't get to use all winter. We slipped and fell trying to carry groceries up and down the lane on nothing but sheets of ice. Work was lost due to not being able to get up the lane of ice. Now, I normally just would not recommend this complex due to this specific situation. However, we have been good tenants who pay our rent early and after leaving numerous voice-mails on the office management's voicemail during working hours, all winter long to try and come to some form of resolution, we never received any kind of response via phone or email or text. The last message to them explained that we would be holding next month's rent until we receive some form of response to resolve the issue of not being able to use the 2 car garage we pay rent on and all of the hassle it has brought by not salting the lane. STILL NO RESPONSE!! So, once our rent was late our apt. Manager actually reached out to us asking for the rent to which we explained that we wanted a response to our issues and a resolution. We were informed that there would be no resolution other than eviction.(I would like to add that we were only a few weeks late for the 1st time and they were already talking eviction on good paying and quiet tenants). So needless to say, we immediately paid our rent. Obviously, the intentions were not to "not pay our rent" but to just prompt them to actually get in touch with us. With no response all winter long we were just trying to get something resolved before any kind of lease renewal and we're met with nobody even willing to discuss this matter with us. So at this point I can see why they are met with tenants breaking leases, or not renewing their leases, in fact I wouldn't be surprised if this company has been sued over situations such as this.A shame, because the apartments are pretty.

Whoever manages the ones in savanna suck. Can never get anything fixed, messaged her last week to get my toilet fixed and never replied. Paying $700 a month for the place when she told me $650. So glad I'm moving out soon. Don't recommend this place to anybody. Maybe get a new "manager"

This was the best experience I have ever had with a property management company hands down. From the very beginning the staff was responsive and helped me get approved to rent right away. The townhouse was clean, cute and spacious. It was perfect for me and my two young daughters. The rent is affordable, especially for the townhome I was renting. The neighbors were friendly and the area was quiet.I never had a maintenance issue but the times I interacted with the local maintenance team, they were responsive and friendly. The management company completely renovated the front stoops of all the townhomes during my year there, which I loved because it showed they really care about the upkeep of the areas they rent. The office staff is out of state from where I am but I never had any issue getting ahold of them. They were responsive, helpful and polite. The online rent payment makes it so simple and easy to pay rent. The fact they are pet friendly with almost no restrictions is a fantastic change from most renters. If you are considering renting I would suggest Mill Creek 10/10 times. They are great!

Very dishonest, extremely uncomfortable living. Not worth the stress to live here. This property stole money from me. If i could pay a lawyer i would i have documentation and witness to prove.

Not very open minded, sent messages about mold smell around washer and dryer and never got any type of response or maintenance to come check it out. Pretty stingy place to rent, not recommended.

Had a storage unit for 5+ years with them. Whether payment was behind.....or not....they always got paid. They have a tendency to lock you OUT of your storage even when you are paid up and they never answer their phones.... Even when important messages are left.Sent a notice of lien in the mail (we had to sign for" when we were 12 days late on our payment. TWELVE!!! We take responsibility for the late payment..and pay late fees......BUT they have put a lock on our storage unit by "accident" ( wrong unit) on SEVERAL occasions.....and it took days to get them to unlock it. POOR MANAGEMENT! BAD BUSINESS
