ordered a door six months ago. delivery date changed 6 times. Lowes did a good job informing me the first couple of times, after that nothing. When i call to check up, they tell me it's corporation, not them. I get supply chain issues, but the lack of communication is subpar.

I decided to choose Lowes to replace the carpet in my home. I went on the Lowes website and picked out a carpet I wanted and then the website had me set up a time for measurements. The measurements were taken and then I received a call from Lowes on 4/2/22 that my measurements were ready and I needed to come in to pick out carpet and sign contracts for the carpet install. I headed to the Lowes in Burlington Iowa which is about an hour away. When I got there the young man working in flooring told me he did not know how to process an install and I would have to come back tomorrow when his supervisor would be there. I explained it was an hour drive and I was not interested in coming back tomorrow. He left to get someone to help. He returned with another man (may have been the shift manager), He asked if I had picked out carpet. I explained I already did so on the website before measurements were scheduled. He told the younger associate to help me pick out carpet and then come find him when that was done. I picked out the carpet in about 2 minutes and the young man left to find the other man. This took about 20 minutes in which I watched the young man walk from one end of the building to the other at least 3 times looking for the other man. (Do you not have a way to page someone in your stores?) He finally managed to track down this man again. He never introduced himself and several times mumbled things under his breath. It was clear he did not want to be helping me at that time. After several minutes on the computer he told me they did not have enough of the carpet I had selected and I needed to pick another. After another 20 - 30 minutes trying to select a carpet that was in stock he then tells me that to get free installation I need to buy at least $600 in carpet. So I then selected a more expensive carpet. I asked that he make sure to run this through my Lowes profile online so that I get my Military discount. I waited for another 30 minutes while he worked on the computer mumbling but not saying anything directly to me. He never asked me to choose a style of padding and was not aware that I had a choice in padding. Once we were done and the contract was printed I took it to the register up front to pay and a young lady waved me over to the self checkout. I showed her the paper for the carpet and she said that's fine. When I scanned the contract paper it gave an error so she tried several more times. I suggested that maybe this doesn't work in self check out. She tried for several more minutes reading through the pages before finally asking the girl at the register and she was told it wont work at self checkout. Once she took me over to the register and we got that started she asked me when I would like to pick up the carpet. I said "you are installing it". She responded rudely "well it's asking me when you want to pick it up". She then walked off and came back a few minutes later with the guy who "helped" me in flooring. He showed her what to do, not saying a word to me, not even a apology for the inconvenience. Once that was all done she told me the price was over $1600! I thought I was supposed to get free install! At that point I was frustrated and just paid and left. They called to do the install on 4/20/22. I was told the installers would arrive between 10 & 1 and they would call 30 minutes before arrival. I took a vacation day from work. at 12:45 pm I had not received a call so I called. I was told that I was 2nd on the list and put on hold so he could contact the install team. 20 minutes on hold and he returned and said he was not able to contact the install team but that I would get a follow up call from someone in another 20 - 30 minutes. An hour later and I still had not received a call back. Then I got a call from Lowes and the lady said she was calling to see how my install was going! I explained that it wasn't going because they are not here. She at least apologized. The install team showed up around 5 pm. They asked me to confirm the carpet and pad were

Ordered carpet and the installers left horrible greasy handprints all over the newly painted walls. Not just here and there, but lots of handprints, in every room. My painter is a professional painter who deals with large projects and he said he had never seen anything like it. Plus they left big gouges in the woodwork around the doors. Lowes took no responsibility. They said it was in my contract that these things can happen. A word to the wise: watch your installers like a hawk! So, I agree that once your order is placed, Lowes is done with you. Watch your installers like a hawk!

This store is a complete and utter disaster. Nobody that works here wants to help you, and will simply walk past you. Trying to get checked out is a challenge. If fact, everything at this store is way harder that it should be. I just moved to this area from Texas, and I miss my Texas Lowes terribly. Was a loyal Lowes customer for years, but not dealing with this store.

I tried to call the electric dept at Lowes. I kept getting put on hold and no one ever answered. I finally got ahold of the operator who told me no one was in electric tonight (thursday 5:30). Lousy way to run a business

We encountered the WORST customer service we have ever experienced in ANY retail store EVER. The staff made it a point to avoid us as we seemed out help to load a very heavy (184 pounds) piece of furniture. When we finally got an employee to help, they were obviously annoyed and rude about having to help us. When we got to the cashier she told us she couldn't bring us up and sent us to customer service, who then demanded to know why the cashier sent us to her. It was absolutely appalling customer service. We will never return to this location. I'm sure the staff won't mind less people to deal with.

The service is as bad as it gets. I've called numerous times and had many visits to the store, their sales team does not get back to you. They don't care about money spent, as soon as your order is placed they are done with you. Then you are at the mercy of whoever they outsource to you. By the way, it usually takes numerous attempts just to get someone to speak to you when you call. Never mind visiting the store and trying to find someone to help you. You go to Lowe's for the convenience factor and they fail miserably in that department. Horrible service and I'm sad they got my money because it validates them to give terrible service to the next client. Good luck!
