At McFarland Eye Center, Dr. Hanna Kim provides medical and routine vision examinations for adults and children. Our eye doctors specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the eye and provide well-vision exams. Treatments may include prescription of medicine, glasses, or contact lenses as well as surgical treatments. Regular eye examinations are an important part of your preventive health care. Children should have their first eye exam at 6 months of age, again at age 3, and every year into adulthood. The simple vision screening provided by your pediatrician may not detect all eye issues, and early detection is vital. Eye disease and vision issues are far more easily corrected prior to age 9.
