“I placed a pick up order last week and just went to make a recipe and realized I was missing two items from my order. I called the store and the manager offered to bring them to me, in the middle of a blizzard. Obviously, I wasn’t going to allow him to do that but the fact that he offered just blew my mind. I decided to take a refund and I got a notification almost right away that my refund was complete. This is why I will always choose Fareway!”
“Fareway is a decent grocery store. Clean with nice produce. Wish they had grass-fed or organic meat. Love the new self checkouts & having a parcel helper bring out the groceries is lovely. Prices are the same or a bit less than Hy-Vee on some items.”

“I have patronized this specific location for many years & will continue. The management & service you receive from store employees has been nothing short of exceptional! The store is continually clean, well stocked, great displays of fresh produce & meat & always organized. The employees are pleasant & helpful in every way. Every department has a wide selection of choices. If you can't find what you need, share it with them & chances are they can & will special order it from the warehouse for you if it's available. If you haven't experienced a visit to this location, I highly encourage you visit. Their staff is exceptional & they strive to keep you coming back each time!”

“I just rode with a guy that picks up tires and disposes of them for Sahoma. I've never actually had any work done over there but I can say that they are really nice people and I would definitely give them a shot at looking at my vehicle sometime if I need them in the future. After I left the shop part of it I went up front to the store cuz I had the worst headache and the guy at the register gave me some Tylenol that helped make it tolerable till I could get some more in my system. Nice guy up front as well. I'd give 5 star and definitely will change my rating after I have some work done on my car.”

“This store has so much stuff in here. It's literally a "General" store as it says it is. Just don't come here if you are claustrophobic. You will probably have a panic attack at some point, especially if there are other people shopping in the aisles with you. There is not much room to move do to the amount of inventory in here.I stopped in today looking for some specific containers to fit my collectibles for traveling, and the cashier was super nice and let me bring a couple to the counter and even bring my collectibles inside to check and see if they would fit before buying them instead of wasting my money on something that wouldn't work and having to return them. That was extremely nice of her. I didn't get her name, but she was working today at the Altoona store at around 3:30pm...So if you read this, Thank you very much for your help, I really appreciated it.”
