Although the front desk woman was very nice, she was hard to track down when I needed something. The morning I left, there was no one available to get my receipt. The breakfast was subpar. Zero meat of any kind. No name brand Pnut butter and horrible coffee. The rooms were clean and mattress was comfy.

Excellent property, we stay multiple times always satisfied with service value for money ,nice updated rooms,quiet great neighborhood away from hwy so very quiet.We always stay at cobblestone when we are in town gem ???? hotel in small town ! Bed very comfortable clean and spotless place ,hot breakfast lots of variety biscuits gravy, eggs, variety muffins, potato and many more !would recommend this place !Thank you for great service in small town !Safety: Very safe in town always satisfied !Walkability: Walking distance main street downtown, restaurant and gas stations very close from hotel!

Stayed at this hotel for 13 nights, enjoyed my stay, the staff was excellent, & very friendly. I will say if you have a lot of luggage, see if you are able to get a 1st floor room as they do not have an elevator. Also during the week contractors are in town & usually stay at this location due to how nice this place is so beware that these are hard working folks & may be a little loud at night after working all day but none of it bothered me at all. The town is small with limited places to eat, but the hotel is starting to serve some food, but there is a nice Subway across the street & Slicks Bar & Grill just north of the hotel on the right, highly recommend their food. There is no real grocery store in the area. the closet Walmart is 30 minutes north in Ottumwa.Rooms: Rooms were nice & clean. House keeping staff was excellent.

The beds are so nice and comfy, and very nice and clean. Management was awesome. They will help you cary bags up stairs if you need it. Morning coffee was great. All in all a wonderful 2 nights visiting the area on a Holiday weekend. Thanks again!

Very nice hotel. Clean and spacious. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Really liked that they are frozen pizza available to purchase and had a pizza oven to use. We travel with a small dog and she was able to stay there for a small fee. Really appreciated that. Also had a nice selection of cold and hot things for breakfast with delicious coffee. We would definitely stay here again.
