I took our family dog in for a scheduled appointment, a week out, with this vet and specifically told them upon making the appointment, a week out, the family wanted to know If the sizeable lump on his chest was cancer, because the family has already lost a family from a vet not doing their job,so with a week instructions they were given specific instructions to check the family dog for cancer. The vet handed me the family dog back and the lady instructed me to take a picture of my family's dog lump with my smartphone and monitor the lump over a months time. I'm sorry with the family already a few years ago losing their family dog from a previous misdiagnosed vets opinion on the exact same thing and having to go to another vet only to find out the first vet gave wrongful information on wether it was cancer.so here we go again this Clearview vet puts it back on the family to take pictures and I spoke to the owner and he indicated no measurements was taken to compare with in the report,and the ask me for my phone number and I told the lady it's in the families dog records,and she says I hope we keep good records. very unprofessional of staff to say the least and the only excuse the owner could provide was his worker's answer 50 phone calls a day,and no complaints,I told him that's not true, I read your reviews, he didn't care and still supported his staff. Needless to say if they hang this vet for being a vet, they hung a innocent man, and he should stick to being a horse doctor for the Amish.

Clearview Animal Hospital worst vet clinic in Bloomfield Iowa You want a horrible vet to take your pets to then take them to Clearview Animal Hospital in Bloomfield. They will change their prices without letting you know until you go to pay. I have two dogs one is under 60lbs & the other is under 25lbs they get kenneled in the same kennel. We kenneled them for three days and they charged us over $84! What! That's more then we have ever paid in Des Moines when we lived there. I called to discuss it and was told they sent letters out(I NEVER received this letter, I did get a shots reminder) and they had a sign in the office(the office no one was allowed to go in, they made you call and they came out and got the animals) I was told "well we did our footwork for this". What!

I want to send a shout out to Dr. Jon and Tess and the other worker who took care of my puppy tonight after hours . I was so scared. Thanks for checking her out and the reassurance! This is why we come there always helpful and always willing to go that extra mile for an animal in need ! Thanks again so much for staying late and taking care of her ! I’m forever greatful and can’t thank you enough!

I truly appreciate the caring Clearview staff and the hospital's convenient location. Our kitty is a family member, and we want to make sure that she gets the best care possible. We know that she gets the TLC she needs and deserves from Clearview. What's more, the staff answers every one of my crazy-cat-lady questions without making me feel like a crazy cat lady.
