The customer service is absolutely horrible. Not that the guy that “helped me” didn’t take my package, but he was so rude that I wanted to just not ship anything with UPS! This has been my experience at the Bettendorf, the East Moline, and the Davenport stores. I really don’t think I’m going to use The UPS stores anymore. I’ll find a different company like FedEx to ship my stuff through.

Wanted to drop off a package today. Came there 6:30, the store is open until 7 pm (that's what it says on the sign next to the door). THE FRONT DOOR WAS LOCKED!I could see an employee inside, talking on the phone. He didn't even look at me. This seems to match the other 1 star reviews for this store. What else should I say?

The staff that is there could pick up the slack and move order ship dates to give themselves time to pack. No reason I should have to go 4 times in a week to drop off an Amazon return and you’re temporarily closed. Place is a mess. Very poor service. Smile once in a while

Tried to bring a package in a few days ago only to find a "temporarily closed" sign on the door during normal business hours. Pretty crazy since the holiday is only a few weeks away. UPS is great as a shipping provider, but this location continues to be the worst in the area.

Hours are very inconsistent. Sometimes when I go they are closed and will reopen at 3:30 and other times have had to close completely at 3:30. Never had any problems with packages so far though.

If you are looking for rude people and poor service this is the UPS Store for you. They are always unfriendly and their hours are terrible. You cannot even drop a package after 5pm. What hours do they think most of us work? I finally took the time to research how these stores work and they are franchised, which makes a ton of sense. UPS as a carrier is good, but this place is awful. I can only hope the franchisee loses their franchising rights.

Rude employees that don't seem to want to ship things out for you. I thought shipping was the nature of their business. Will either go to a different location or just use Fedex or USPS.

It always feels like these folks honestly do not want my business. $1 for each piece of tape? (Yes, bring your own tape.) Today I heard “We aren’t UPS” in response to my request for help with a tracking question. I was asking for 30 seconds of this man’s time. The people at the UPS Store say “we aren’t UPS” when someone asks for help with a minor question. I was the only customer in the store!

I tried two days in a row to rent a mailbox. The first day I didn't have the correct identification with me. The second day I was told there was only 1 employee that could authorize that and they are out on medical leave with no known return date.

It seems like they've replaced the entire staff lately. Maybe not, but I saw all new faces today. The place is cleaner than I've seen it in ages, and all workers were pleasant. Extra credit to Rhonda who helped me directly, she was extremely helpful and pleasant. Nice to see this location's customer service improved.

I don't even know where to begin??? The theme of the reviews is the terribly crabby old lady that works here. Her name is Pat. You can't possibly imagine the horror that is dealing with this woman unless you have done so yourself. For years she has been this way. The other day I went in to ship something to be delivered in the Chicago area next day by 1030am. She and I filled out the paperwork together... and the next day the package was delivered back to me at my house. What? I took it back in and was told "we're not UPS. You have to talk to UPS about that." Then we went in a couple days later with $280 worth of shipping and she was being horrific to us. My husband asked her why she is always so rude and she said "why do you keep coming here then?" I'll give her credit.. she's right... why do we? Unfortunately so many companies issue UPS return labels these days that I don't have a choice unless I want to drive to NW Davenport. Starting to think the drive is worth it. Unbelievable. If ever given the option to go elsewhere, DO IT!!

Read the reviews, and you will notice a theme. I am sure she is a nice lady and very knowledgeable. She has worked there for as long as I can remember. I bet I've interacted with her 6 times over the last 20 years. I don't think I've ever seen her smile, God bless her.

I needed to ship something but needed to use thier printer to create the label as I did not have a working one. Turns out thier printer was broken and they suggested to go to the Bettendorf office supply store right across the way. The office supply person told me their printer has been broken for 3 YEARS! And that they have been printing stuff for them since. What kind of service is that for a store that promotes packaging printing and the works. Terrible customer service.

Thought to myself “why does this place have a low rating” but then again I realized people are more likely to leave bad reviews about bad experiences than good reviews about their positive experiences. I went in yesterday evening and there was no wait. I was instantly greeted by a man (wish I knew his name but he’s always there) and he was so kind in helping me ship my package. The other lady came over to process my payment and was very helpful too. I don’t know a lot about shipping since I usually just am in there to drop off my Amazon returns, so was glad to have gotten assistance and reassurance that my package would be delivered as expected!
