I'm here with my daughter inlaw who is 9 weeks pregnant. I took her to urgent care first, they determined she has influenza B and is severely dehydrated. We have been here for 3 hours in the waiting room. I asked for a blanket for her, they said no because she has tempature. I asked for some ice chips for her, they said no, "you can't have anything to eat or drink once you enter ER as patient until doctor sees you", SHE IS HERE FOR FLUIDS BUT I CANT EVEN GIVE A DRINK?! ILL TAKE HER TO GENESIS NEXT TIME. DOGUS HOSPITAL. Terrible care

Please do not give birth at this hospital. They don’t follow standard protocol. Specifically, they failed to use a urinary catheter after having an epidural placed in me for more than 5 hours. I even asked when they were going to do that (because the other hospitals I delivered at said that is standard practice because the mother can’t feel if her bladder is full and can’t walk to the bathroom and can cause damage to her bladder and difficulty with labor). They said they do not do that. I asked the nurses, and even the OB/GYN. I ended up having significant prolapse issues and am still having issues. Other women I know who delivered here later had to have pelvic floor surgery. Deliver here at your own risk.

My mother is in the hospital with end stage emphysema, COPD, congestive heart failure, and an antibiotic resistant respiratory infection that can cause pneumonia. Her doctors have been trying to figure out the right combination of antibiotics to treat it. While she was getting her new antibiotic, the IV came out of her arm. She tried to use the call button to call the nurse for almost 20 minutes with no response. So she used her phone to call the nurses station & they answered. When her nurse came in she was irritated. The nurse asked her what she did to knock her IV out. My mom told her she hadn’t done anything. The nurse was rude & my mom told her that she didn’t need to get nasty with her. The nurse told her she could sign out AMA (Against Medical Advice.). My mom said that she couldn’t do that. (She’s supposed to have a consult from an infectious disease doctor in the morning.) The nurse replied, “oh yes you can!” What kind of medical professional suggests and then encourages a very sick patient to leave the hospital AGAINST her DOCTORS advice? In addition, what kind of medical professional treats a very sick patient like that? I understand that there is a nursing shortage & they may not be able to answer the call button right away. But being busy does NOT give someone the right to treat a patient that badly. My mom didn’t cause her IV to come out. She was very worried about not getting her much needed antibiotics & there was also blood on her, her gown, the bedding, & the floor from the IV site bleeding. That’s why she resorted to calling by phone. She doesn’t want me to report this because she’s afraid she’ll just be treated worse and she’s in a very vulnerable situation as sick as she is. I’m so thankful that this nurse wasn’t able to bully her into leaving the hospital. I’m so upset by this & I’m not sure what is the best way to handle it.

Went here for my heart, they did nothing, I weigh less than 115 and they had two body guards kick me out for having anxiety!!!! I may die and these people kick you out!!!! It was filthy also the bathroom had pee on toilet and all the stuff for to collect pee was all over the floor. Disgusting, also the rest of the place wasnt clean either. They actually kick you out of an emergency room and laugh at you!!! There should be minus 500 stars. Unprofessional, scared of everyone who comes in and treats them like trash. My cousin called them and yep my blood test was abnormal they told her. What is this world coming to..........

I'm in so much pain. I just got home after being in there all night. My monocytes were through the roof, as were my basophils, my neutrophils were hella low as was my CO2. That is a sign that either my body is at war with something or is attacking itself. After spending all damn night in the hospital, they told me "I was fine" and to go home. I feel like absolute death and I can't make it to another hospital right now due to money and vehicle reason. So whatever they missed today....I'm screwed and will probably only get worse.

Patient went to unity point under the direction of their PCP with urgent concerns and has sat for over 7 hours thus far WAITING, to be seen, while other walk-ins taken right away. Similar thing happened when another known patient sought medical attention and waited TWELVE hours. I get there's different levels of urgency but COME ON!

Will never go here again, if ur diabetic they will let u sit in the waiting room for hours while ur blood sugar goes up and down, and it's hard to control and think when ur blood sugars 500, kept telling them that and they could have cared less, we got there at 11:30 left about seven, didn't do nothing about his blood sugar, if I could give zero stars I would, we were in the emergency room but obviously a diabetic about to go into shock wasn't an emergency.

I had surgery at Trinity Hospital. When I was discharged they did not explain that I had to take my gauze off incision sites. They said I didn't need to do anything. A week later I went in and asked and the other nurse said it should have been taken off. Then my second week of recovery I began to have cramping in lower stomach when I went to bathroom. I was told to get a Ua. That came back negative. No one called and told me what my results were I had to figure them out my self. The pain continued and I had to call my surgeons nurse two times before she asked another surgeon because mine was out of office for the week. This surgeon said I need a CT stat and to not eat or drink. 45 Min later I got a call stating they cant get me into a CT even though my surgeon asked for one stat. The nurse told me I have to just go to the ER but she cant confirm that they would give a ct. Implying that I need to pay an ER bill just to get a CT that my surgeon said I needed! Then they said I would have to go through my Primary care doctor. I called my primary and they told me that my surgeon has to schedule a ct. Then I sat in the ER for three hours and left because the wait was 7 hours long at Trinity. I then had to ask to be scheduled with a follow up doctor. I finally got into a follow up doctor while being in pain for 5 days now not knowing if something is wrong. This doctor was amazing and finally listened to me and scheduled me a CT the next day. I went to the CT and had to wait for three hours but the nurses that did my CT were absolutely amazing and apologized for the wait. After 5 almost a week of pain I finally found out that I have a cyst on my right ovary. I had to call my surgeons nurse a total of eight times and had to get my mom involved to advocate for me because they were not listening. I should not have to advocate for my self these people should still be willing and go out of their way to keep me safe post surgery not just while I am in the hospital. I felt unheard and disregarded and it was mentally physically and emotionally draining just to get the care I needed after my surgery.

People who don’t fit some of night nurses ideas of “deserving parents” don’t get treated decently. Shame and harass patients who use state assistance. I am so disappointed

I spent over 5 hours in the ER on my birthday with bad chest pain in my heart. They called multiple people who arrived after me back before me. I was basically told that my symptoms weren't acute when I asked why everyone was being called back before me. If god forbid another emergency happens to me, I will never return to this ER, ever.EDIT: In response to the hospital's response; I was very kind! I did not complain to the staff once. I was sharing MY experience on here. I worked as a Certified Medical Assistant in a doctor's office for 6 years, I'd never be unkind to a healthcare worker.

Everything takes forever. Can’t even get labs done without waiting in two separate lines, THEN waiting for the lab techs. Then you’re trapped in a waiting room with fake news MSNBC blasting loudly as to Brainwash you while you wait. This is a hospital. You shouldn’t push your agenda on people as they are already at the hospital, most likely for some not so good news. Stop showing your news biased and start caring more about your patients needs and wants.
