Kwik Star convience stores was a welcome site after traveling 4,000+ miles in the southeast the past two weeks. No chain down there holds a candle to Kwik Star/Kwik Trip when it comes to quality and cleanliness. If you are traveling make Kwik Star/Kwik Trip your go-to stop for gas, food and a clean restroom. Keep up the good work Kwik Star employees! You really do make a difference.

Because of the close proximity to the sports complex this place is very busy on weekends and the products are picked over. Kwik Star is building another location 2 miles south on Middle Road that hopefully will reduce local traffic to this location. Friendly staff.

My son tried to buy a Megamillion ticket for his dad, who was not present, and was denied after asking for his ID stating he was underage and therefore she could not sell him a ticket. NOTE: My son is 20. So my husband went to the counter. He was also denied simply because “someone else” was denied. When he tried to explain that the “someone else” is his son, she still denied my husband the sale. She then tried to say “it is Iowa law” even though my husband is WELL over the age limit. I can understand denying the sale to my son, but to my husband too? Let it be known this was the store manager, female, who conducted this poor service towards my husband and son. Note: we are Asian and did not see this service directed to anyone else. Clean facility and great products, poor service.

Car wash ripped part of door trim off. Worker's at store were helpful finding piece and helping fill out report.
Ann from Corporate, said vehicle was already damaged.
I wish I can post picture, my truck is(was) in mint condition.

I go there normally twice a week. Super nice and super clean. The employee Tim is about the nicest person ever to. Just a very nice older gentleman that has the grandfather vibe to him.

Order online for the first time. Got to the store 30 minutes later and the cashier informed me it will be another 20 minutes late. I’m disappointed because I was in a rush and my order was not ready as promised. Ask for a refund and they said I have to call customer service.
Thankfully Night Shift came to the rescue and resolved my issues. Definitely coming back in Night and order chicken with them.

I don’t often post reviews for gas stations, but this one stands out and I want to recommend it for travelers on I-80.The employees are exceptionally nice, it’s easy to get in and out of the parking/gas area and to/from I-80. There was construction nearby and even that was well marked and easy to navigate.All the gas pumps were working (which sadly is becoming rare) and the pumps and parking are laid out to maximize traffic flow.Inside, the finishes are updated and everything was clean and inviting, restrooms included. Did not feel like a gas station. They have a great selection of drinks, snacks, meals and more fresh/real food than expected. Something for everyone. We were on a cross country trip and it stuck out as a high point.

Beware, there car wash coupons sucks, they come coded in the receipt, if you trash mistakenly, you donated your 1 hour wage in IA.

This place is wonderful! Unbelievable amount of food options! Fresh veggies and fruit too. Restrooms were very clean. Staff was extremely friendly! Such an up and coming neighborhood. Many restaurants and a hotel close. All look new. Enjoy!
