Whomever works in the floral dept during the day time hours (petite lady in her 50's) is VERY rude. I have dealt with her a handful of times both in person and on the phone in the last month and it has been less than pleasant ALL times. Going forward, I will take my business elsewhere because she truly makes it seem as though placing orders is an inconvenience to her.

Thank you for the $75 arrangement plus delivery and tip for my mom's birthday... I even know carnations are not worth $75 (anywhere) I was kind. then I asked if they could replace the bouquet... here's what I got. Not happy. This is disgraceful. I called again and they came back, TOOK HER flowers back, did not refund me and gave her a dead plant. I'm embarrassed for you Hy-Vee. Would've rather given her money for groceries than EVER given flowers from you. Go designer or don't do it, unless you want this Sickens me to my stomach that this was even worth this much. Might as well go else where or designer. They at least care.

My husband and I had a very negative experience with one of the butchers at the HyVee on Devils Glen in Bettendorf on July 2, 2023, so I had posted a negative review of their butcher counter on Yelp. Management from that HyVee store reached out to us the very next morning and apologized for what had happened. They did make things right with us and so I am changing my negative review to a very positive one. This HyVee location clearly does care about the quality of service they provide to their customers. I highly recommend this HyVee location.

The flower arrangement was haphazardly done. A big letdown. I strongly recommend a different florist or a different hyvee.

I was just in to return to return Halloween candy last night and I was accused of a money situation by an assistant manager. I asked for cash back since my mom give me her credit card. She didn't give me the correct cash. Then my mom came in and tried to calm the situation down. It didn't help. The assistant manager was not nice and rude and I won't return to Hy-Vee again.

RUDE RUDE RUDE!!!! Meat counter sucks, I stood there waiting to be helped but the three at the meat counter looked at me and IGNORED me and after a couple minutes a few other people came to the meat counter and they HELPED THEM FIRST AND NEVER HELPED ME!!!! I put everything back and left and went to Fareway. Screw this Hy-Vee and their rude employees.

I was surprisingly delivered flowers (some type of mum plant) on Sunday. I cannot explain how pathetic it looked. It was in a brown Hyvee paper bag. When I pulled it out, all stems drooped down to the table. The plant was bone dry. Now I know why it was in the bag, it kept the flower in shape. I wanted to take a picture to post it, because my family gave me this gift as a big accomplishment I achieved, but i couldn't. I could not show them what their money bought. It was disgraceful !! I watered it, let it sit all night, the limbs slightly came up. I tied it up, turned it just right to snap a picture for my family. Plus I added filters to do anything to improve the picture because I knew my family spent a lot of money. It is now only 2 days later, and the plant is pretty much dead. So very sad HyVee would deliver something of such poor quality. Their Customer Service is definitely a reason I will not be back.

I've never ran across since blatant ignorance of a store's own policies in my life. I tried to buy an additional gift card here for a late holiday gift, just like I'd done all season long using a credit card, and was told that was against their policy. KEEP IN MIND I literally just bought one here Sunday using the same credit card, I even showed the manager the digital receipt as proof! Yeah, I could have just used the debit card but I like the points, and I've ALWAYS done gift cards for family this way (I also use this method to fund my EBay purchase as EBay has issues with PayPal). Never been more frustrated. Stuff like this is the difference between HyVee and Fareway. Fareway folks actually know their own policies.

Dear Shelly F , I am normally not one to comment....on any comments what so ever , but due to it being 5 am and a lack of 20+ hours of sleep due to work this is where I'm at. Perhaps you start finding the positives in your adventures and not seek out the negatives; I'm sure you don't actually understand the full affect they cause . might be nice to take a second enjoy being in the moment and realize you're out ordering food and being served on. 1 good review out of what your 5? They converted to full service, and they are in the weeds!!! We waited 1 hour, half the food was cold, and the waitress was green. The food was good, but we will never return!!!!!!

Ellen the assistant manager at starbucks is probably the sweetest woman you'll ever meet and with a smile so big, you can definitely tell this woman really loves her job and cares about her customers. one visit there and you'll quickly notice this yourself
