I usually don't like writing bad reviews and like to highlight businesses who go above and beyond. I reached out to Ascentra Credit Union with a genuine interest in doing business, but I was disappointed by their lack of follow-up. I submitted an inquiry through their website and even called to follow up did get an email the next day (2 days later), responded back to him, no answer the next day, called no answer, now it's been another 2 days with no response. This lack of engagement left me feeling undervalued as a potential client, and I ultimately took my business elsewhere. I recommend Ascentra Credit Union improve their follow-up process to ensure better customer service.

They sponsored an event at my sons school, so we opened his account here. Jody helped us get it started and she did a great job and was patient with our children being there. A nice thing for the kids is they have games in lobby to keep them occupied. They also have a change machine for member’s and how great that you do not have to roll change to deposit.

This credit union was extremely helpful and understanding when I had a difficult situation come up. They helped me more than I thought I would it would be able to be helped. They made it easy, understandable, inconvenient to get everything I needed done, done. Jodi, was incredibly helpful.

Anytime I go to Ascentra for banking, I'm greeted as I walk through the door and assisted as needed with a smile! Thank you Ascentra for making me feel welcomed. :)

I have been member of Ascentra Credit Union for over 40 years. They gave us our home loan and we were one of the first to get a home loan from them. We have had all our car loans with Ascentra. Always have had great service. They have explained everything clearly to us. Always have been treated with respect. Great place for taking care of all your financial needs.

This is an awesome bank! Was looking around at loansd refinance my motorcycle. My bank, vibrant, that I’ve banked with for years, I thought would’ve gave the best rate. They use Experian, which no other banks I have looked at use. That tends to be your lowest rating. They offered me 4.6%. Called green state, they offered me about the same. Went to Ascentra, got the loan at 2.5%. Was extremely happy. Got everything taken care of, and the Check sent out to Harley to pay off the loan. Will be switching over all my banking to Ascentra. Kind of sad that the bank you’ve used for over 10 years, gives you the highest rate out of anywhere you’ve called. Probably why vibrant has closed pretty much all their locations.

Great Credit Union for young adults trying to make something of themselves. Also, Ascentra has great customer service and it is a delight whenever I go there.
