Very clean room. Comfortable bed. Love the big thick bath towels. The owner was very pleasant and friendly. Just as good as any of the national known high priced hotels/motels or better. I would recommend this place to all my friends and family or to any travelers going by there. I would definitely stay there again.Rooms: Very clean and spacious.

The halfway point to see family. Nothing fancy but clean and cozy. Though I do prefer a bath tub or a shower.Food & drinks: Nice restaurant next to it. The Embers. If you like fish I recommend the walleye

It was so clean! And the staff was so nice! Amy was great quick to go above for us. Our car had to be repaired she got us a ride and got us in contact w a great repair and service. Kim was awesome when we checked in late. Will stay again!!

This was a great place for a last minute stay. The room was clean and comfortable. Looks are deceiving. If you are in need of a late night stay in Avoca, pick this place. The proprietor is very friendly too.

Clean room, friendly staff. Lacking some amenities i.e. blow dryer, remote for tv. Had to go back to office for tv remote then again for fresh batteries so remote would work. Lots of feral cats living there, sad to see. No extra charge for my cat! Said they have theft problems with tv remotes and pillows. But very clean and good place to spend a night.

My name is Bryan and I wanted to sit down and write this review and give Credit due where it's due. I am presently staying the night at the Acova Inn in Avoca Iowa right off Highway 59 and Interstate 80.It is a small Good little Motel that is clean and the other good reviews are definately consistent with what I am now writing.Clean Sizable Rooms with good Heat WIFI and very Affordable. The Housekeepers here are very cool too. Talked with both Amanda and MichelleThey both are very decent gals who do a good job and, Have good people skills and truly hospitable to Folks.The Manager Kim here is Awesome and a very good hearted lady. Who treats people very good!.Overall my first impression and feelings about this place are very good. I would Highly recommend this place to Travelers on US 59 and I-80That want a good small motel to stay at.So stop in and stay here in fact, don't stay anywhere else. Make the Acova Inn your stop when passing through the Avoca iowa area.We as Americans need to support our Local Mom and Pop Motels and Small Businesses as that is the American thing to do. Don't know the Owner Al but by virtue of the other good folks here at this Motel im sure he is good people as well.Thumbs up to the Avoca Inn. Highly recommended!!??????

The staff is friendly the rooms are clean and warm.this is an older hotel but I'm able to park in front of my room to keep track of my stuff in the truck
