Cute store with a huge selection of Fiction all the way to Anime. Great for all ages and will be coming back again shortly. Keep in mind books traded in are for store credit only to be used towards used books only and only half the price of the book.

I've been here a few times. The selection is usually fantastic. It's not too cramped so you can freely browse at your leisure. My only qualm is the used book pricing. They're independent and I get that, I just have a hard time justifying the price on used books. They do have a book trading program that I'm sure is useful.

I definitely found my favorite bookstore in Ankeny, a much-needed oasis of calm that offers both new and used books, but also has Isa the German Shepherd, a wonderful dog who greets customers at the door and loves attention. It's a great vibes. Loved meeting one of the owners. Great staff, helpful, and knowledgable.

This is a wonderful bookstore. The selection is abundant and well organized. They have new books as well as used. They also have a stellar policy for buying and returning books and getting store credit. The owner also has a passion for supporting local authors. If you’re in the Ankeny area or if you love reading, this is a spectacular place to stop.
