Why are the waits so long, and no one is ever apologetic for it? I understand being understaffed but at some point you have to develop a plan to improve and move forward, and that’s just not evident here.

Don't waste your time frantic parents in search of their child's ADHD medications... They refuse to confirm stock so you can have the Dr send in a script. When I've gone in and asked before they won't provide updates. Yes, we are in a shortage but communication is important. Medication isn't something ppl can go without in many cases.

This store has progressively gotten worse - the pharmacy used to be 24/7, reliable, timely and organized. It's now hit and miss- the drive up closes for lunch, and now closes at 10 during the week and 6 on weekends. Half the time the drive through is blocked off for pick up. Pretty disappointing and inconvenient

So extremely frustrated with their pharmacy. Used to be able to get your Rx within an hour and now it's literal days.

find it funny they never answer they phone because they’re “busy answering other calls”, even though i’ve never once heard a phone ring or seen someone on the phone in that store.

One star is too many. I don't know how many times I have worked 12 hr shifts in Ames, bee-line it to this Walgreens only to find out its closed because of staffing. I even check the website to see if they closed early, nothing is mentioned. I understand staffing shortages, but please work with us, let us know if you are not going to be open the hours you have on your website. Usually meds are prescribed to start immediately not prn when the pharmacy decides to be open.

Walgreens is fine. It's their drive through for prescriptions. It couldn't be any slower if they tried. Just went at 4:00 in the afternoon on a weekday to get a prescription. Was only two cars ahead of me. Waiting almost 30 minutes still not done. Left in disgust. This wasn't the first time. Will transfer prescriptions to another pharmacy.

This Walgreens pharmacy does not stay open until 10 as they have posted. 8 cars where left sitting in the drive thru at 8 pm when the workers where done for the day. No one said anything to the people in the drive thru for an hour. If you are short staffed then you all need to change your signage to the hours staff is available.

I'd give negative stars if I could. We called at 10am because our neighborhood Walgreens has no staff, asked to fill two inhaler prescriptions. Having trouble breathing, come all the way to this Walgreens to have them tell us to wait another 15 minutes. After 30 we go up and they say they don't have the inhaler. So we've wasted half of the morning, been misled and the staff acted as if it was somehow our fault that they lied. Worst pharmacy experience in life and we've been to our fair share.
