I do like this target, it is a very nice target and always has stock. My problem today (3/8/25) was at their Starbucks. I went in around 6 pm and stopped at the Starbucks before getting my groceries as I usually do here. I wanted to try the new seasonal drink, iced cherry chai. I had already tried this drink from a stand alone Starbucks in west Des Moines and it was delicious. I was told to try it with matcha powder the next time I went so I tried to order it that way. The lady then got an annoyed rude tone to her voice and looked at me as if I was stupid, saying she couldn’t make it like that, I was just like okay. It then took her ages to finish the drinks so I went and started shopping while my boyfriend waited. When my boyfriend found his way over to me with our drinks he informed me he over heard the Starbucks employees talking crap about me and my order with the other employees. I think that this is unacceptable and very unprofessional, it’s also so out of pocket and just all around rude for no reason. All and all, the employees at the Starbucks tonight clearly don’t know how to barista, my drink was awful compared to the first one I’d previously got from a different location. AND extremely rude and unprofessional for a GROWN woman working at a Starbucks in a target. I hate leaving my house and then having to deal with people that are rude and nasty while they are working. AWFUL SERVICE.

In the grocery section, I noticed several items past their expiration dates. When I visited the makeup section, a young white girl with bangs was very rude and gave me a judgmental stare when I asked her a question about a makeup brand. I used to enjoy shopping here, but this experience has changed my mind.

I usually come to target a few hours before they close due to my work hours and there is never anyone at the deli. Tonight I came, and nobody was over there and I waited for 30 minutes. I called the store and they said they would send someone over and there still wasn’t anyone sent over. I found an employee and it turns out there was nobody working the deli and he just said I was SOL.
Get your stuff together.

Area i was shopping was not well maintained or priced. But in the end the sale price won.

Tried buying one item in the tech area the guy didn't want to help and I kept getting sent checkout to checkout I was last in line and the guy closed the checkout so it took forever to get what I was trying to purchase.

If you grocery shop here or get any food, CHECK THE EXPIRATION DATES. They are so bad at managing the stock and removing products that have expired. It's happened many times, most recently I bought an item in June 2024 that had already expired in October 2023.

Great store. Great selection. They need more checkers if they're going to limit self checkout to 10 items. Two people with full service check out is ridiculous.

This Target store is very clean and well-stocked. They have a fairly good selection of name-brand and store brand grocery and personal care items. Their store-brand prices are significantly better than the name-brand items. Their non-grocery selection is good, and is well rotated with the seasons and holidays.

I really like this Target location, always clean, stocked shelves and most employees are friendly. Till we went to Starbucks today, the young gal was short and so bothered doing her job. I’m not sure she really wants to be there.

I want to checkout and the only lines open are the self checkout while I'm looking at three employees laughing. They have a sign posted that says self checkout is 10 items or less, but there's no other lines open. This is why I buy everything online.

I recently (10 days ago) had surgery on my ankle. I crunched my way in to get some deodorant and body wash to find not one single electric cart working. I had to crutch my way through the whole store and then got watched the whole time while management stood in a circle talking and spreading rumors about the other staff members. We need new managers here at this specific location asap. They’re a joke

There are never enough cashiers; the self-checkout is limited to 10 items or less; the self-checkout terminals are difficult to use, because the touchscreens aren't calibrated properly; and the produce isn't bar-coded, so it always requires manual entry. If Target wants to make checkout this difficult, the simple solution is to not shop here in the first place.
