My F250 had body damage to the passenger side of the cab, wheel and box after they drove it through their carwash! They did finally get it in to repair it. I had to drive from Waterloo to Ankeny, drop off the truck for repairs, had a rental to drive back to Waterloo, then waited 9 days, and back to Ankeny to pick it up. No compensation for my time or fuel costs!

Quick lane and Valet customer service is great and the oil change package with tire rotations is a good deal.However, every time my truck is serviced I have to drain 1/4-3/4 qt of oil to get a proper reading at or below the dipstick “max” indicator when following the owners manual instructions to warm the engine, then shut off and wait 15mins to read the dipstick.I suspect that oil is added, a leak check is performed by running the engine for a short time, and then checking dipstick for fill level. With auto start/stop on most newer engines, oil is retained in the top end to maintain lubrication over start/stop cycles and does not drain to the pan quickly. Therefore the oil level may appear “low” and additional oil is mistakenly added resulting in an overfill.I’ve spent more time draining and checking oil after the service that I will go back to doing it myself and just pay for the tire rotations when needed.Service: Oil change

Dewey Ford gave me perhaps one of the worst service experiences for my 2018 F150 I’ve ever had. If not outright criminal then completely incompetent. I came in with my V8 clearly having catalytic converter code issues that were effective the timing chain and they gave me an oil change and said the oil was contaminated, charged me $400 dollars and said it was fine. I’m pretty sure it’s because they didn’t want to replace the converters while it still had some warranty left. Well it had contaminated oils as it had timing issues from bad catalytic converters but their mechanic seemingly couldn’t figure this out. Then sent me off to have the warranty expire and almost junked my engine in the process. I would strongly beware of taking any vehicle there as they are a bunch of cutthroat scoundrels that cannot be trusted. I had to contact them to try and clear up the issue and all they would promise me was I could spend more money as I didn’t seem to be satisfied. I rate them as mechanics extremely horrible as I already had read the codes and told them what was partially wrong when I went in. Don’t trust them with your vehicle.

Had to take in our Expedition in for a recall repair. Great experience all around. The service area kept me informed and updated on the repair. Loved that they delivered our Expedition home when it was done.

Waited almost 2 hours for oil change. They washed the vehicle and the windshield was all smudged. Not that great communication on updates.

Our (under warranty) transmission service was a roller coaster. 2+ months in the shop for it, waiting on parts for a rebuild and then a tech, then we had both and it was determined we needed a new transmission and another dealer should pay, the other dealer did not agree, then it was covered by warranty (again). We were charged for a software update on the in dash screen system that we were told would be under warranty - and that this is not a permanent fix, Ford is still working on that. We did get a Ford-covered rental car for 2/3 of the time. We have not received any paperwork related to the transmission repair but have paid and have the car. Sorry to need to post this review

Missy greeted me when I arrived. Along with an oil change, I Needed to have new lug nuts and she came to me to explain everything. Also, kindly brought me peanut butter crackers to have with my coffee! When all was done, she came over and explained bill and walked me to the cashier. Then walked with me to my car. Very nice, polite, and helpful.

We were called by Dewey as our truck had a recall on it. We had an appointment to drop off at 10am on Tuesday. We dropped it off and received a text to call or text if we had questions. We were originally told it would take four hours but to plan on 24 hours just in case. We received a call Tuesday night that they needed to keep it overnight. Our next check in call was Wednesday afternoon saying they were just getting to it. We then texted late afternoon to see if it was ready because we were down to one car for five of us and I had to go to work. No one responded to that text. Thursday morning came and went with no communication. We sent another text which went unanswered. Finally at 4pm we tried calling as I needed to get to work and didn't want to leave my family without a car again and was told it was done and had been done for a while. They didn't know why we weren't contacted. When my husband came to pick it up there was no apology or any regard for our inconvenience.
We were forced to go back for a warranty issue. Again, we made an appointment a week ahead of time. We were told the repair would take 48 hrs. It took 3 weeks! The communication that we received from our Service Advisor during our visit was next to nothing. It was only after we called Ford Motor Company and they found the part we needed sitting on a shelf in Iowa that any progress was made. It was still another week and a half after they got the part in before we got the truck back. We are planning on trading the truck in for another vehicle, but I will absolutely not be going back to Dewey Ford. As a matter of fact, we are steering away from purchasing a Ford so that we never have to go back to Dewey for a recall or warranty issue.

Once they got the diagnosis then The process moved quickly to get the problem fixed. Fast and efficient and they had even offered to deliver my truck back to me! I appreciate the effort to get my vehicle fixed quickly! YeahService: Air & cabin filter replacement
