I felt like everything in the store was fairly priced, and actually cheaper than most places. The store was small, but extremely clean! And, the staff is so helpful! Will definitely be back weekly!

AnkenyI would HIGHLY recommend Denise’s Doggie Do’s! They have always been nothing but professional and understanding. My pup is terrified of the blow dryers and they are always patient with her fears. They found a way to make it easier for her and were so kind and understanding. I always get nervous when it’s time to groom because I know how stressful it is for my dog, but they have helped ease my stress as well. I am so glad I started using Denise’s Doggie Do’s and I am beyond thankful for everyone there who has interacted with my girl!

The vet was very caring, explained tests, attended to Lilly in exam room (rather than remove her to back area, away from me—as other vets have done), and Lilly and I both felt comfortable with her. Happy we made this change in Lilly’s care.

Lucy goes to Dr. Katie, who is very good with her. Dr. Katie does not push off medications and things that aren't needed. We trust Dr. Katie, the whole staff with doing the best they can for Lucy!

742 S Ankeny Blvd, AnkenyAwesome experience! We were traveling in our RV and our dog developed a mouth infection. The front staff was so accommodating setting us up with an appointment. We arrived early, and they fit us into a cancelation. The vet was professional and knowledgeable, and we had medication in hand in under twenty minutes! What a fantastic experience-we can't thank all the staff enough! And the dog quickly recovered after a couple of days.

They explained the workup, cost and said they would call after the exam was completed with suggestions on treatment. Very thorough and kind.

1595 NE 69th Pl #93, AnkenyI'm so thankful for Derrick and all Kai's training staff. We rescued our first working dog breed (Border Collie and Australian Cattle Dog mix) after our old Boston passed away. I had been through 'dog training classes' (4 different types to be exact in 3 different cities) with our Boston, and nothing stuck. I swore I would never have a dog like that again and I saw some mutual friend’s post about Kai's, so I figured I'd give it a try. All I can say is, "You're not in PetSmart anymore" when you walk in. It's not an academy for people who don't want to listen or who don't trust the process. Derrick and staff are there to train YOU so you know how to communicate clear expectations to YOUR dog. I can't count the amount of times I hear, "Oh my God, that dog is amazing" from passers-by, store workers, airline staff, etc. I would never have been able to it without Kai's. Derrick is hard, but consistent, on people. He wants people to be responsible dog owners and doesn't want you to send mixed signals to your 4-legged companion. My dog wanted to leave our first training session with him....which is when I understood the difference in the need for clear and effective training when you own a working dog. In 6 months of training, my dog is fully off-leash trained (yes, even on neighborhood walks with cars, dogs, and people), and he has even been trained to recognize when my anxiety/pheromones elevate to apply deep pressure and alert me to calm down. I never have to worry about my dog reacting to another dog and it's the most blissful feeling when going other places and traveling. Thank you, Derrick and Kai's team!

Bartenders encouraged buy food nextdoor and bring it over. Saw other tables bring in pizza.
Staff allowed to taste test/sample beers before buying.
Definitely go back next time.in Ankeny.
