I felt like everything in the store was fairly priced, and actually cheaper than most places. The store was small, but extremely clean! And, the staff is so helpful! Will definitely be back weekly!

322 S Ankeny Blvd, AnkenyI've been using Smitten Kitten since I moved to Iowa in 2018. I've used both locations and have had nothing but the best experience every time! I have 3 long haired cats, and I take them every 3-4 months to get lion cuts. One of my cats is very sassy and even on the days that she is being non compliant, they are able to pull through and get it done. The workers are super friendly and you can tell they are so passionate about their jobs. They love cats! The store is always super clean and I enjoy getting to pet and play with the foster kitties while I'm waiting for my cats to be brought out to me. I'll never take my cats anywhere else. Smitten Kitten is the best cat grooming shop I've ever been to.

742 S Ankeny Blvd, AnkenyAwesome experience! We were traveling in our RV and our dog developed a mouth infection. The front staff was so accommodating setting us up with an appointment. We arrived early, and they fit us into a cancelation. The vet was professional and knowledgeable, and we had medication in hand in under twenty minutes! What a fantastic experience-we can't thank all the staff enough! And the dog quickly recovered after a couple of days.

We rescued our first working dog breed (Border Collie and Australian Cattle Dog mix) after our old Boston passed away. I had been through 'dog training classes' (4 different types to be exact in 3 different cities) with our Boston, and nothing stuck. I swore I would never have a dog like that again and I saw some mutual friend’s post about Kai's, so I figured I'd give it a try. All I can say is, "You're not in PetSmart anymore" when you walk in. It's not an academy for people who don't want to listen or who don't trust the process. Derrick and staff are there to train YOU so you know how to communicate clear expectations to YOUR dog. I can't count the amount of times I hear, "Oh my God, that dog is amazing" from passers-by, store workers, airline staff, etc. I would never have been able to it without Kai's. Derrick is hard, but consistent, on people. He wants people to be responsible dog owners and doesn't want you to send mixed signals to your 4-legged companion. My dog wanted to leave our first training session with him....which is when I understood the difference in the need for clear and effective training when you own a working dog. In 6 months of training, my dog is fully off-leash trained (yes, even on neighborhood walks with cars, dogs, and people), and he has even been trained to recognize when my anxiety/pheromones elevate to apply deep pressure and alert me to calm down. I never have to worry about my dog reacting to another dog and it's the most blissful feeling when going other places and traveling. Thank you, Derrick and Kai's team!

We ordered their homemade poptarts, one strawberry and the other pumpkin. They came out freshly made and warm! Then for our breakfast, I ordered the Buenos Días loaded hash browns and my husband ordered the cinnamon toast crunch French toast. Both our meals tasted amazing!! The service was also wonderful! Everyone was so friendly and kind. Very attentive to what we thought of the food and asked if we needed anything! Excited to go back and try some new foods next time!

I felt like they were Very professional I will say that the hospitality Was priceless. I also want to mention the bathroom. The bathrooms are very nice and clean. The food was honestly the best Mexican food I’ve had in any restaurant everything looked fresh and everything was delicious if you’re having a birthday party or celebrating with your family or if you’re looking for a good Mexican restaurant, I would strongly recommend this restaurant!

The Ornery Chicken
121 SE Shurfine Dr Suite 6, AnkenyFood was Outstanding! The Mother Hen had to have the juiciest piece of chicken I've ever eaten in a commercial sandwich. To say I was pleasantly surprised is an understatement. The sidewinder fries were not at all what I was expecting I will admit. They were good sized and plenty of them to boot. Also very tasty. It's pickup or delivery only which is okay by me. The money they save on overhead is poured back into the quality of the food, so they win and we win. Speaking of pickup, you get there text which spot you're in and within a minute of me texting, they were bringing it out. To be honest, I hadn't even put down my phone and they were coming out. Love service like that.
