First off I have not been to a Kwik Star location yet that the staff hasn’t been friendly or helpful. The on on Orlabor Rd in Ankeny Iowa is no exception. The employees are great and are very helpful. There is one employee that went above and beyond. She help me get the items I was looking for and brought them to the counter. Since I’m in a wheelchair, it would have difficult to carry them. After doing that, she came out side to the car wash to help enter the code. I could not reach it from my vehicle. Oh, the best of it all, she finished work and stayed to do all of this for me. She clocked out and stayed at least 20 minutes of her time to help me. That was more than excellent customer service, that was exceptional customer service. This location is lucky to have an employee such as her. Oh, her name is April and if you go there make sure she knows how great she is.

Only went out of my way to use my gift card. Ended up having such a great experience thanks to the employee passing out samples. May return again without a gift card

The prices are good and the fuel almost as cheap as Kum n Go. Their fuel rewards work so that's why I use Kwik Star instead. Don't use their car wash though it's doesn't do much of anything.

I come here almost every night to eat. But for months issue getting hot food like chicken been an issue. Response i get is no one in kitchen, short staffed, on lunch, and my favorite one "cook don't like to cook chicken".

If I could leave zero stars I would, I have never been treated so badly at a Kwik Star store until coming to this store! The cashier named Terri was absolutely horrible. She was rude when I asked her if I could pay with two separate cards. Had a horrible attitude. I will not be back to this location.

Worst kwik star ever!!!!! You would think if they consistently run out if things week after week they would learn how to order.... every other one does... NOT THIS ONE!!! WIll be my last time giving this location a millionth chance!!!!

Quick and easy. Love the shake machine. The chicken strips are the best in town. Also have a rewards system.
