I went in tonight to pick up a prescription from the pharmacy. Dustin and Eric were so beyond helpful and friendly. Even with some difficulty with my insurance, they knew just what to do and made the interaction so easy. I appreciate their help.

I came just to get State Fair tickets and walked away with a full pork chop dinner with mashed potatoes seasoned with bacon, cheese, and ? Plus mixed vegetables all for under $8. So good!

They have specialty items that are hard to find. The store is clean and well taken care of. Staff is helpful and will take you to the item you are looking for (not just point). Many items are a little more expensive but worth it for the extra service they are willing to provide. The south side Hy-Vee even has electric car charging stations when you park your car. Other than the price of certain items being a little high, the shopping experience is very nice.

Terrible store. Everything is WAY more expensive than elsewhere (brie was once half off and STILL cost more than the exact same product in other stores) and 90% of their employees are completely incompetent at customer service. Even at Walmart, employees will try to find someone else to help you if they can't. Here, they just shrug their shoulders and walk off, almost without exception.
How this place is still in business is beyond me.
