Visited Saturday November 11 with relatives from out of the country. Asked a young man why shelves were so empty. He told us their truck came in on Friday. I asked "and you've sold out already?" His comment " someone needs to put it out". His next comment was " if you speak nicer to me I will speak nicer to you" Needless to say our group of 5 walked out without buying anything and we won't return.

I filled two prescriptions at the same time - one for each of my children. They have the exact same prescription - an inhaler that they use as needed. One inhaler we received expires 4/2024 and the other one expires 2/2026! Same prescriptions filled at the same time and the expiration dates are drastically different. This is important to me because my kids never use them up before they expire. I called back up to the store and they REFUSE to exchange the one that will expired in 8 months for a different one that will expire later. It’s still in the UNOPENED, SEALED box, but they won’t exchange it for one that won’t expire so quickly. And yes, they CAN do this because it’s happened before believe it or not! The first time this happened, I was only filling one of their prescriptions and after consulting my doctor, a new inhaler should last AT LEAST one year. They did take that one back and give me one that didn’t expire so quickly. That’s the only reason I went with them again - because they made it right that time. Apparently their customer service has gone even more downhill because they won’t make it right this time. It’s terrible they’re taking advantage of people by giving out medication this will expire before it should. I will never give them my business again.

I am in love with this CVS! Especially the pharmacist at this location. I refill on the Cvs app or by phone. Well the app messed up. The pharmacist all took their time and walked me through what was wrong, they helped me get in touch with the Dr. all the way in California and transfer every to Iowa. They are extremely helpful and patient with me and my elderly mother. One of the pharmacist wears a continuous glucose monitor. She explained hers to my mother who is diabetic, and helped her see it is not scary to use or put on. It was the sweetest interaction. All the pharmacist/staff are amazing at this CVS. The drive through window was broken and the line inside was a little long one day, But all the staff inside still had smiles and patience with everything person. They all seemed to really care about the people they help. Every time I come in they remember who I am and that I moved to Iowa from California, also they ask how my mom is doing. I am beyond happy with everyone there.

Gary is a gem at this store. You got questions? He’s got answers and recommendations. You want to maximize your savings on purchases? Gary’s got the know how on that too. He makes every trip into this store an absolute pleasure.

Massive out of stocks. Limited stores hours. Don't have your prescription delivered. They'll say it was delivered and my ring door bell says otherwise. Out my copay and script. CVS 800 does nothing but say "we can't help you call the store". Store says "uh we don't know what to do about that". Zero leadership. Oversized company with disastrous processes and management. They should just close up. Scripts can be mail order and products can be Amazon ordered. There is literally no use for pharmacies anymore.

I have finally given up on this pharmacy and moved our prescriptions to a different pharmacy. On two separate occasions I have been the third car in line and waited 15-20 minutes and been forced to leave without getting my meds. My doctor sent over a new prescription for my daughter and it was filled and ready to pick within 3 hours at our new pharmacy. This CVS location would take anywhere from 24-48 hours to fill a prescription. When you are sick, that is not a pleasant experience. Another time they couldn't find my prescription even though they texted me that it was ready for pickup and once I pulled up and no one came to the window until I pushed the button for service. I could see a group of techs standing around chatting. Bye!

I wish I could rate the pharmacy separate from the store, but absent that, I'll say the pharmacy staff is outstanding. In the store if Gary is working you're also in for a good experience, but literally anyone but him, and you can forget it. The self checkout can't do larger gift cards, and any time I have to get help from any of the other gentlemen working, they go out of their way to make sure I know I'm an inconvenience to whatever was more important on their phone. If my Rx didn't require I use CVS Specialty I'd never stop in this place again, and am honestly thinking it's time I just have it delivered to a Des Moines location.

Do you not own a vacuum? Such a dirty looking place. The pharmacy staff are friendly enough, but the whole place needs an overhaul.

Clean store with easy to navigate aisles. If you have questions, ask Gary at the front counter, he’s EPIC.
