But we ended up talking about car batteries and how awesome interstate batteries are. We also talked about how important the customer is and taking care of them. “I usually pop in for a key fob battery exchange, which is always quick and easy. But today I needed a replacement battery for my computer's UPS. I thought I'd selected the right one, but Mario explained the subtle difference in connector sizes and steered me to the correct one. Got home, installed it, and tested it. Still squealing. I called and Mario told me to bring the whole thing in and he'd take a look. He spent a fair amount of time on it, including trying another battery. It wasn't the battery. Before I could even ask, he instructed his co-worker to refund me for the battery. Then the co-worker asked if I wanted to look at their UPS stock. I did not know that they sold them.
