The price and location seemed great at first, but I quickly learned that you get what you pay for. The doors are frequently out of order. My biggest problem is that I keep supplies for a small business in my unit. When I needed them most the doors were not working and there was no one available to help. I was well within the hours if availability. It was a significant financial impact that I couldn’t get in my unit. I asked for a response about this. First I was ghosted and received no response. When I followed up I was just told, “we’re not liable for equipment malfunctions!”I understand there are limits on liability, but I paid for a service that you didn’t deliver when I needed it most.Do yourself a favor. Go to Green Acres storage. They are less than a mile away and never have issues like this.Update: the “owner” Is condescending and acting like I’m too stupid to know where the entrances are. The problem is the keypad were all out of order and it didn’t matter which door I tried. Like I said…poor management and poor treatment of their customers.

The storage rental place illegally auctioned off my items that were stored with out giving me legal time limit to redeem be careful with AAA Storage when it comes to your items you keep under their possession

Can't say enough good things about AAA Storage-Ankeny and especially about working with "Allie", who we met for the first time last week. Wish i could give them a "5-Star Plus" rating. We were very apprehensive about where to place our belongings in storage, but now feel so relieved with our choice. Allie took such very good care of us, explaining their facility, cost structure, and politely answering every single question we had (and there were many questions). I can honestly say she is one of the absolute best I've ever encountered, from a sales/customer service standpoint, and it was a pleasure working with her. She was polite, professional, thorough, courteous, and simply a pleasure to be around and work with. AAA Storage had better hold onto Allie and if they don't, I'd certainly put in a good word for her at our company (completely different industry, but she would be an asset anywhere she works)! Regarding the storage unit itself, we rented 2 units and found the facility to be very clean, secure, and just what we needed. We simply can't recommend them enough! Kelley & Gretchen
