Patty (white hair, blue manager shirt) was very rude to me on Oct. 13 around 9:30am. All I wanted was for someone to check the status of my form 4473, but she refused to & wouldn't even look me in the eyes. Here's a tip, Patty - if you're having a bad day, try not to take it out on the customer. I hope her attitude improves, because the rest of the employees are very helpful and kind.

I found a squirrel call! I figured that would be a catalog-only kind of thing, but Theisen’s had it right there on the pegs!Also found some dental chews for my dog so maybe my squirrel will make it through cleaning so the people can try it. ?The cashier and all of the employees were friendly and attentive, as always. The popcorn was fresh, too!

Large, clean, well maintained with large stock. Parking is temporarily a challenge with some roadwork being done. Overall a great place to shop.

I called to inquire if they carry a certain brand of dog food and the worker on the phone was very rude and just told me “I don’t know”. I thought it was pretty rude to not even check for me, but I said thank you anyways, to which her response was “yup” and proceeded to hang up the phone on me immediately after. Extremely poor customer service.

Good store for hardware, automotive oil, hydraulic fluids and so on but I also really like their cheap blue jeans and they often have good shoes on clearance.

One of the most unsafe and cracked up parking lots i have ever seen. You cannot safely push a shopping cartto your car without it getting stuck or practically throwing all your items out. I would hate to be someone with a disability and cannot walk easily. Im surprised older people are not constantly falling and injuring themselves on it.

I often shop here when I am in the Ames area. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Today I needed to obtain a copy of a receipt from a purchase made over a week ago. Hannah was more than accommodating. She was prompt in contacting me once I made the request, expeditiously located a copy of the receipt and took the extra time to follow up after sending to make sure it had been received via e-mail. Thanks for the great customer service Hannah!
