“Went in and their staff was really friendly and insightful. I talked to a girl named Brooke for like half an hour while we talked about Bourbon and the market of Liquor right now. It was a great experience and I wish I could rate it even higher than 5 stars because it was excellent! Wish I lived closer to Ames to shop here more often.”

“Mrs Ann was great help , i am an old Marine and i have broken both arms and wrists several times , and i can not turn a cap to open a soda or tea , Mrs Ann was so helpfull at opening my tea for me , that is great customer service and she deserves a raise or at least a lunch meal for going above and helping an injured Marine veteran with disabilities”

“The owners are still the same, sweet, people... Glue that binds the book considering Welch Ave. and it's historic neighborhood. ?♂️ ?♀️ The small staff has barely changed in years, and they may or may not help you out if you're a few pennies short. ?”
“Went here on May 28th to get gas. Paid $3.15 per gallon. Look close at the price on the sign. It's not 3.15 9/10, it's an even 3.15, is that refreshing or what. I paid at the pump and then went inside. This place is nice and has very competitive prices. Staff that work inside are as friendly as anyone could possibly be. This place really is a hidden gem. I highly recommend this place.”
