Love this place! Love the chicken, hot chocolate and the people that work here. One of the best places to buy gas, wash the car, and get food.
Unfortunately phone support on the Kwik rewards card is impossible. I waited for 40 minutes listening to the same ads over and over and the same voice every 10 seconds saying "wait and someone will help you soon," and then was disconnected. For as wonderful as your employees are at your stores, your customer support by phone is very lacking.
EDIT: They did call me back within hours of this review. The only problem is that my phone did not recognize the number because it wasn't the number I called to begin with. So I called the number and got the same runaround as I did the first time. I'm not going to wait 40 minutes and get disconnected again so I really don't know what the answer is.

I don't know who design truck parking in this location in Ames IA but what I know its probably someone very very stupid, and one more thing and that is windshield water is about 25 feet away from windshield, how stupid is that? You have to jump over fuel line.
Very very stupid.

Clean, new looking, stopped in to grab a quick lunch at just barely noon and there was very few ‘hot food items’

I love Kwik Star! I am very impressed! The staff are always so friendly and helpful! The deals are wonderful too! It is always clean! I know several people that go here frequently and are always impressed with experience

Easy in and out. We bought octane 87 fuel for a Toyota Rav4. We noticed a sulphur smell every place we stopped after that. We finally figured out it was the fuel from KwikStar.

Honestly, this is my favorite place to stop anytime I am passing through. Not only is it super convenient to be able to grab the essentials late at night, but the kitchen staff and front register employees always go above and beyond to assist me. A special shout out to Dave. 10/10

Stopped after George Strait concert. Store was crazy busy, but was very clean and attendants were very fast and friendly.
